If I could give Sam more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!…read more Sam was responsible for the retaining walls, built in stairs, drainage work, and new backyard path as part of our much larger backyard renovation that also included astroturf and fencing. His work was the foundation that everything else depended on, and he finished in time, keeping the entire project on schedule. He built two beautiful retaining walls with integrated stairs and created a dry river rock drainage bed along the outside of our fence to help prevent erosion and washout next to our new path to the backyard. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and it's obvious he takes pride in doing things the right way. He also completed a separate project at the front of our home, removing old bushes and installing new sod. The sod has established beautifully and is doing amazingly well. Beyond the quality of his work, Sam is one of the kindest, most honest, and hardest working people we've ever hired. He communicates well, shows up when he says he will, and genuinely cares about delivering a great result. Finding someone with this level of integrity, reliability, and skill is rare. We couldn't be happier with the work he did, and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for retaining walls, drainage solutions, landscaping, or hardscaping. The first day was a hot, sunny day. The man who came aerated my lawn. He told me that he was too tired to do anything else and he was going home. He wanted to be paid even though he had not completed the treatment. I already had a check made out to him for the aeration, as well as the spraying; so I showed it to him and told him that I would give it to him when he completed the work. He was supposed to come back the next day. Next day - no show or phone call. The third day someone came and completed the treatment and accepted payment. I fired them, but someone came at another time to treat my lawn. I told him that they had been fired. I would have continued to work with them except for the old guy who came out first blighted the whole experience.
