I noticed this tiny little shop and stopped in while in town. It's chock full of lots of interesting and unique items, all with a science-y theme. It's definitely a bit niche, but if you know someone who loves science, this is a great place to get gifts. Every inch of the store had something interesting to look at, from neuron and brain earrings, to microbiology themed washi tape, circuit board coasters, recreations of renaissance sundials, all sorts of space-themed items, puzzles, games, anatomical chocolate hearts, insect fossils... you get the idea. Really interesting and cool place. I didn't see anything that I would need personally, but it was definitely fun to check out. In the words of Bill Nye... Science rules!

It may be the loveliest shop in Old Town and adds so much to the creative village-like atmosphere there. It may be a bit extravagant, but, it's not about things a person needs, it's about the things that bring us pleasure, comfort and joy. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Love of beauty is taste. The shop is beautifully designed and decorated with various home items and art from local artists. Artists on display used techniques from acrylics to oils to unconventional mediums, while the jewelry for sale ranged from very affordable to upscale. Other items for sale included trendy home goods, photo frames, glass ware, etc. I hadn't planned to buy anything when I walked in, but I was drawn to a very pretty necklace with interchangeable pendants. The chain only set me back $15 and each pendant went for $5. Other more custom jewelry was pricier, I'm sure, but I really felt like any one walking in would find something that really speaks to them. Fantastic! The owner was very nice and accommodating. She seemed to know her customers and have some regulars who enjoy stopping by. The store was really lovely and it is a great addition to the Old Town community.
