I noticed this tiny little shop and stopped in while in town. It's chock full of lots of interesting and unique items, all with a science-y theme. It's definitely a bit niche, but if you know someone who loves science, this is a great place to get gifts. Every inch of the store had something interesting to look at, from neuron and brain earrings, to microbiology themed washi tape, circuit board coasters, recreations of renaissance sundials, all sorts of space-themed items, puzzles, games, anatomical chocolate hearts, insect fossils... you get the idea. Really interesting and cool place. I didn't see anything that I would need personally, but it was definitely fun to check out. In the words of Bill Nye... Science rules!

When I called the store to address the issue, the employee who answered insisted that she had personally packed the order and that everything was included, despite my grandfather confirming that the item was not in the bag. I even offered to add my grandfather to the call so he could explain the situation himself. Instead of handling the matter professionally, the employee became argumentative, raised her voice, and made disrespectful comments. She told me, "I don't know what way you want me to explain it's in the bag," and eventually stated that she didn't give a "fuck." I was simply trying to resolve an issue with an order I paid for, and I was met with hostility and profanity. Things became even more concerning when she claimed she needed to create a fake email to send me proof of the refund. When I questioned why the confirmation would not come from an official business email address, she repeatedly hung up on me and refused to provide the owner's full name. I was told the owner would text me a picture of the email instead. This entire experience was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected basic courtesy, accountability, and a legitimate resolution--not yelling, cursing, repeated hang-ups, and a lack of transparency. My order was intended to celebrate my grandfather's birthday, which made the experience even more disappointing. I am requesting a full refund and hope corporate management takes this complaint seriously. Customer service matters, and no customer should be treated this way for bringing a legitimate concern to a business's attention. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to order from this location again.
