Well when i picked my car up it had a funny sound when cranking it, so went back there, they admitted to putting a remanufactured starter but also said if i wanted a new starter i had to an additional $100. Now mind you they charged me $278.99 for remanufactured starter, when i could have gotten a brand new one $239.99.. Just make sure to question if your parts are NEW OR REMANUFACTURED because they won't tell you. If the starter wouldn't have been making the noise it's making i wouldn't have known either... I called the shop and let them know about it. I brought my truck to the shop several times but they "didn't hear anything." That was nearly 6 mos ago. and my brakes are still squeaking! Who knows where they got those "ceramic" brakes from. They certainly have metal in them. Otherwise they wouldn't be squeaking so much.
