Great experience. We needed a rough survey done of our property just to see where it is. Katherine,…read morewho answered the phone, looked up tax maps and deed maps over the phone and got back to me with very useful information, including the fact that the tax assessors think we have 2.8 acres when we actually have 2.3. Well, that's good to know! Then, the surveyor who came out was excellent, marked our rather weird property lines clearly, explained the access road issue, and otherwise gave us great information. Also particularly appreciate that these guys LISTENED to what we needed: a rough idea of where we could put buildings. So, they didn't do a full survey, just a four-hour one that gave us a sense of what we needed (and which was a whole lot less expensive). Great experience, and we'll have them back when we're ready to plan the outbuildings in fine detail.

Back in 2006 Howe Surveying did work on our commercial property without any issues. I called…read moreHolmberg and Howe six months ago giving them all the information I had about the previous work they performed such as address, date, job number etc. All I asked is if they had this on CAD. They were polite and said they would get back to me, I waited several weeks without a callback at which time I emailed them and got no response. I've called back numerous times and they are polite and apologetic and tell me that they will check their file at another office and get back to me. Six months have passed and still nothing but "We will get back to you" which never happens. Whoever is in charge needs to make changes on how they do things. The first is common courtesy of returning a call. I definitely would not recommend this business. FOOTNOTE: I contacted Raymond Engineering who had done work on the same property in 2002 and called them, Raymond Engineering got me the information in a matter of days. What a difference it makes to work with a professional. Again, I would not recommend Holmberg and Howe for your surveying needs. PS: This is the first time I've ever did a review on a business.

Bradley Forbes and Son delivered as promised, a fantastic job. We are very happy with the new look…read moreof our home. Starting with the crew's work ethic, it was impeccable. They were professional and really pleasant to work with from start to finish. Right from the first phone call, Brad provided excellent customer service, taking time to answer all my questions and concerns and letting me know what would be covered in the job. He included information on types of paint, compounds, brushes, etc. - a lot of attention to detail that goes beyond just putting paint on the wall. It was extremely helpful to understand the process and to be informed on how long things would take approximately. Brad also gave great suggestions on testing the colors beforehand, recommending high-quality paint so that it would last for years and resist stains. We were thoroughly satisfied with the results. He was also able to meet our agreed-upon timeline and we were able to make our move-in date. And one last added benefit we received from choosing Bradley Forbes and Sons, we learned several different things about our older home that we would not have known otherwise. Almost like an archeologist, Brad discovered under layers of paint, wallpaper intact from the 1940s, with a small village scene depicted. It was a treasure. We decided to incorporate it into the look of our home and frame it, to highlight the history of our home. Brad brought more than expected, with his expertise in painting and his knowledge on several aspects of the house painting process, it created an overall satisfying experience. This confirmed our decision that it was well worth the investment to have our home professionally painted. Not only do we have a house well painted, but one step beyond, along the way we gained invaluable knowledge and insight into our home. Thank you.
