Their quote was reasonable and they had the gutters in black. They arrived at the appointed time and were fast. They asked a few questions and got to work. Only thing people may find issue with is that I was finding screws on the ground for a while, but I have worked carpentry and know that small things get dropped when getting work done. They otherwise cleaned up any aluminum scraps and debris. Gutters look and work great! Price couldn't be beat! I would recommend them. read more

Wow everyone involved in this business are so polite, professional and timely. I could not recommend this service enough! They came out and fixed my gutters as well as installed bigger gutters to accommodate my roofs downpour. I have 2 rain barrel setups and they worked around those and gave me recommendations on them. A disappointment.  We booked a gutter job with them, and they quickly charged the deposit, and said to wait a month.  No one called or emailed the next month, so we got in touch with them and finally scheduled a day.   The day came and NO ONE SHOWED UP. While they quickly charged my credit card for a deposit, they FAILED to even arrive. I got an appointment email, then no one showed up in the 1 hour window. I called 30 minutes into the time slot, the lady confirmed they were coming. Then I called back 30 mins after that, and she cancelled. No reason, just "oops" he's not coming. Smooth operation guys. Gutters installed improperly resulting in a great deal of debris clogging the downspouts. I had no reason to inspect until a year after installation. Owner claims somebody uninstalled and then reinstalled improperly. Seriously? Nobody, including me, was up there. Why would anybody sabotage his work? Owner refused to come to my house and discuss possible ways it could have gotten messed up. He also claimed they could not be repaired without damaging shingles. Overall, a terrible experience. Tried to sue, but he was actually hired by the roofer, who had done a bit of damage, so I had no standing. read more

We've had our gutters cleaned and one gutter replaced in the last year and a half. All work was done well and for the going rate. This fall we asked for gutters to be cleaned as late as possible due to our oak tree dropping its leaves late. Mr. Gutter called three times to say they would be coming to clean and three times did not show. We now have chock full gutters in late December. This is not a good thing. I think that when a company gets behind on work that is dependent on the weather that they should work weekends to get caught up. We called many times and got a very indifferent response. It's Saturday. The sun is shining and everything has melted. I'm old, but, in my day, a local company would be out working to honor a contract. read more

DON'T CHOOSE MR. GUTTER I want to share with you, my community, a very unsatisfactory experience with Mr. Gutter. I hired them to redirect some poorly draining gutters on my house. The work was completed successfully but one of the original straps broke during the process. Rather than replacing the strap the installer gave me a replacement strap and told me to have my carpenter put in on. I took the strap but in hind site should have just asked him to put it up to complete the job. A few weeks later another strap was broken. I called to have them come back to fix both of them and was told that I was lying about the broken straps and they would not fix it. I found this to be very insulting. I had used them to install and clean out gutters for years but now have severed my relationship with them and am encouraging others to look elsewhere for gutter service. Advanced Seamless Gutters (413-536-8023) out of Chicopee will be cleaning my gutters from now on. They actually will match any price that Mr. Gutter would charge and hopefully they will value me as a customer and be more respectful. read more

Great work by Mr Gutter! Well worth the wait. We put our deposit down in September 2020. But due to covid19 it put a strain on aluminum. They were waiting on rest of my order before starting the job. After 6 months wait, they came in a day took down old and they put up the new gutter system. Just like any roofing or gutter job. They cleaned up just about everything. Just few screws were found in yard but I expected that. Everyone needs to be patient with gutter companies due to there was aluminum shortage. read more

He came to the house that week to give an estimate and didn't pass up the small job. As soon as the weather allowed, we had an appointment and the team arrived on time. If you need new gutters these are the people to go to in Western Mass. (they were recommended to us by our general contractor.) They provided us with a competitive and fair price for a number of new gutters on our house. The product was of high quality and their installers are clearly very skilled installing gutters, since this is their specialty. (i.e. they don't do it as a side business like many other gutter installers.) I have had a terrible experience with Mr. Gutter that I am still trying to resolve. Their product is good but there installation has caused major damage to my house and they are reluctant to fix it. I am still in the process of trying to get this remedied. If they fix the problem, I will change my review to a positive one. So far, it is a $2000.00 disaster. If you need work done on your gutters or cleaning, call Mark, the owner/operator and generally a pretty amazing guy, Rob and the rest of their crew at the Mr Gutterman in Hoyoke. I called and emailed them several times (they always responded quickly and were just really nice about explaining everything and being flexible) I had Rob, also great guy, out to look at out house in Leeds - he gave us quotes, detailed descriptions of the work, recommendations, opinions and options based honestly on the condition of the gutters and our budget. They were extremely understanding, patient and professional - also had a great sense of humor. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and I will definitely use them again in the future for more work.
