I attended a holiday party in San Francisco and recently experienced Theron's close up magic for myself. The best close-up magician I have seen in many years! As a fellow magician, I know most the tricks but when I can't SEE it happen - I am very impressed. I let Theron know I was a fellow performer (mostly charity event and not of his caliber) so as people crowded around to watch, he focused on the audience of about 10 people. That left me, tight in his right side - a really 'revealing' place for most close up magicians. Even with my perfect vantage point, I didn't see most of his secret moves. Even when one of the 'know it alls' in the crowd demanded to shuffle the deck in the middle of the trick - Theron gladly handed over the deck and improved a beautiful recovery.
