I want to share my experience with Alex Cuddy. I went to the launch are and Alex showed up about 10 minutes before our scheduled time. We went over the paperwok and then practiced takeoffs and then he put together the glider and we stepped over the railing and waited for the perfect moment, Alex asked me if i was ready to fly and I said "YES" and we took off..... It was amazing!! I have wanted to go on a tandem flight for many years, I have flown gliders and ultralights but never did hang glide. If you are even remotely thinking of trying it or want to start i would put Alex at the top for your experience. Hwas great. Two days following I received a complete set of photos of our flight. Alex absolutely deserves 5 stars! My sister and I both signed up for a tandem flight during our trip to Tahoe. Unfortunately the wind wasn't good for Monday, but Tuesday morning the wind was cooperating just fine. I went first, as I tend to be more nervous than my sister. We filled out all the paperwork, then Alex walked me through everything! We practiced how to run during the takeoff (I was slightly nervous to keep up, as he is a good foot taller than me), where I needed to hold on, how to release the emergency parachute, etc. I was blown away by how relaxed and at ease he made me feel! Alex is probably on of the worst businessmen I have run into. He did not care that he just blew us off. Called Sunday morning to book. He signed us up and said he would send us an email. No email Sunday. Called Monday morning and he said he would send us an email. No email 3 hours later. Called again. He said he would email at 5:30. No email at 5:30. At 6:30 he called to cancel our booking. He lied to me. Later he sent a text to say a friend died in a skydiving accident. Sad but he lied to us, booked us and ruined our day as we now have nothing planned. He didn't care and then wanted to blame us for his poor business practices. Very unreliable. read more

Alex was so awesome! He got us in last minute for my sons 21st bday today. He was extremely friendly and clearly passionate for what he does. If your looking to run off the side of a mountain and soar like a bird, he's your man. read more

After my 14 year old daughter and I stopped to watch some hang gliders sail off of Slide Moutain last year after a day of skiing and she told me that was something she really wanted to do, I looked into hang gliding. We decided to go with Alex and all 4 of us (mid forties parents and 14 yr old daughter and 13 year old son) made the leap last year. AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I was surprised to read the one star review as I just had an awesome experience with pilot Alex. We did a tandem flight (not a lesson). It was totally thrilling and not scary. I can't wait to do it again! Alex is a world class competition pilot and I felt secure with him. He let me do a little steering and he did some areobatics (as if I needed more excitement!).
