I received a massage from Keith at 5 PM Monday afternoon…read more I was diagnosed by a well-regarded hand specialist with carpal tunnel after doing multiple tests. I wrote down that Information on my forms, but he insisted that I didn't have carpal tunnel and instead thoracic outlet syndrome. I requested on the forms to massage from the fingertips upwards towards my neck because of this (for CTS you are NEVER supposed to massage down the arm/hand/fingers), but he began massaging my arm the opposite way. Then I verbally asked him to massage the other way and he did without hesitation, but he still did my fingers the wrong way. At this point I had already asked twice, so I just let him massage how wanted. Keith made several remarks suggesting that he knew anatomy of the arm better than doctors, which is why they mis-diagnosed me. But he also didn't know where the rotator cuff was located, which threw me off right away - considering I've had a rotator cuff injury previously and have done a lot of massage and physical therapy; I know very well where my rotator cuff is located. My wrists hurt much more than when I came in. Instead of massaging as requested, considering my carpal tunnel, he massaged based off of his own personal diagnosis. I truly believe he irritated my wrists worse than they were when I came in. In addition to his unprofessionalism and arrogance, as far as the massage, he spent most of his time on the right side of my body and neglected the left side. When I flipped over to face the ceiling, he breathed somewhat heavily towards my face, and I couldn't relax due to the odor of his breath. I didn't say anything during the massage, because I am not a confrontational person, and I also didn't feel the increased pain until after the session ended. I still tipped 20%, because I believe he had good intentions. But the massage fell very short from satisfactory, and he should be made aware of this. When I contacted them to speak about it, the receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE! I would give them 0 stars if I could.

It feels good to finally find a place to get a variety of massages and a really fantastic one at that! I had a 90 minute Ayurvedic massage. When I scheduled it, the owner made sure I knew to take a quiz (they provide the link) to learn my dasha. I then could text her the details so they would have a specific warm oil to use for me to provide balance for my body. I've been feeling rather off/emotional and the massage completely relaxed me and I feel more calm and secure afterwards. On top of the perfect massage, they allow you to select an add on. I selected the hot stone allergy/sinus release and it was perfect, especially in dusty Lubbock. I'll be back, and soon!

I came to hear about Justin's massage therapy service through a highly respected chiropractor. The…read morechiropractor recommended that I see Justin or one other massage therapist to help deal with an ongoing shoulder, neck and face pain issue that was not getting better with chiropractic adjustments alone. I decided to go with Justin because of the convenience of his location. I have to say I was a little hesitant at first as I had never gone to a male massage therapist before. My hesitance about his gender disappeared upon meeting him. He is professional in every way and truly outstanding massage therapist. Justin gives general Swedish type massages as well as trigger point massages. In my case he primarily did trigger point massage to targeted my specific issue. After the first massage I felt some relief from my neck and shoulder pain however the intense pain returned within a few days. I returned to see Justin the next week and after working on me he told me that between visits I could use a $2 lacrosse ball to work out the kinks. The lacrosse ball worked, however I found that I had to use it multiple times a day to keep the pain under control. On my third visit, Justin had me do various holds with my body to help him identify what muscles in my body were likely weak and what movements and holds triggered my pain. After his evaluation he asked me if I would be interested in learning about targeted exercises and stretches that would likely strengthen my weak muscles and allow my overused muscles to relax. I was relieved to say the least to hear that there was hope for me to get rid of the pain. I am a floor nurse that does a lot of heavy patient lifting and I beginning to wonder if I was going to have to stop working on the floor as the pain was getting in the way of my work. On my next visit after my massage, Justin presented me with a game plan. He had typed on paper the exercise and stretches as well as a schedule of how many and often I should be doing them. He demonstrated the exercises and stretches for me to do and had me return the demonstration. Since then I have been following the plan religiously and am thrilled to say that my neck, shoulder and face pain have decreased to the point where I seldom experience any. I go to Justin now for tune ups and on an as needed basis for other issues as they arise. I am very grateful to you Justin. Your massages and shared knowledge have truly had a significant positive impacted on the quality of my life and my ability to continue working on the floor with patients. I cannot thank you enough!
