The call was intended to be a routine health check-in, but the conversation quickly became judgmental and dismissive regarding my circumstances. I explained that I had moved an extended distance due to factors outside of my control, which has made it more difficult to access specialists. Instead of focusing on my care or offering solutions, I was told that people should make housing decisions based on proximity to medical care. This felt like blame rather than support. I also discussed that I sometimes use AI tools to help me organize health-related information and prepare questions for my doctor so I can better advocate for myself. I was told that using AI in this way is "dangerous," without any meaningful explanation or discussion, which felt dismissive rather than informative or professional. Most concerning, the conversation included an unsolicited reference to religion (specifically God) that was not relevant to my medical care. I immediately made it clear that I do not share those beliefs and did not wish to discuss religion in a healthcare context. Instead of acknowledging this boundary, the nurse doubled down, scoffed in response and stated "well, that's your belief". I found this highly inappropriate and disrespectful in a medical setting, particularly during a health-related call where religion had no relevance. Overall, the tone of the interaction felt condescending and dismissive rather than supportive or patient-centered. I left the call feeling talked down to rather than listened to. I want to be clear that this feedback is not about my physician, who I continue to trust and appreciate. It is specifically about this interaction with the chronic care staff member, which did not reflect the standard of care I expect from the practice.

The issue is that most of the clinic staff is unprofessional and rude. I sent a message asking for a refill that the doctor forgot to send at my annual, and it turned into a heated argument through their messaging system. I received a letter a few days later letting me know that they had terminated their physician/patient relationship, and that they were not longer able to treat me. Previously, I had already experienced what felt like discrimination based on sexual orientation by a member of the clinic staff.

Was using this facility approximately 4 months after having surgery for a separated bicep tendon and rotator cuff . Wasn't a fan of what we had to do at first (hurt like hell)but fast forward 3/4 months and I found myself looking forward to visiting with Mark during therapy. He kept it interesting and made it somewhat fun. Regardless it's up to you to do the therapy work and the staff here will keep you inspired . Thanks again for the quick recovery. Being a prior chiropractic assistant I knew what to look for . I have no insurance coverage for chiropractic care but I know the benefits of continual care . I fell just over two yrs ago flat on my face and needed a lot of dental surgeries and eye care surgeries . Dr Chavez found a tear in my rotary cusp that was undetected when I fell. He carefully evaluates you, listens and comes up with a treatment plan that is very reasonable and affordable . His entire staff give me VIP treatment .. When other doctors…read morewere saying that my condition was Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and recommending surgery for that, Dr Colvin didn't think that was the correct diagnosis and sent me for other imaging. What we found was a spinal condition that required surgery on my neck and my lower back. Unlike most spinal institutions who immediately want to give steroid injections he invests the time necessary to get to the root of the proble. This man saved my life and I will always give him the credit that he deserves. Thank You Dr Colvin for giving me my life back.
