I use the massage therapy services at The Spa and they are extraordinarily good. I have used massage therapist services all over the US and The Spa's staff are, frankly, among the very best I have found (and much better than those in some of the famous spas in NY and California...). The services seem a bit pricey for the Erie area (though out-of-towners will find them inexpensive) but LECOM offers a number of package discounts and incentives that make the price more reasonable. When you consider what you are getting for your dollar (the facility, the staff, the therapy), it is a bargain.

As I…read moreinhaled and exhaled and relaxed into her work I could feel my body releasing long-dormant tension. By the end I was in tears just out of sheer gratitude. Her work, to me, is spiritual and emotional just as much as it is physical. The body is the gateway for releasing whatever, more ephemeral, gunk has caked onto your being. Even if you are healthy and feel good, I believe that everyone would benefit from a massage from Glow.

No explanation as to why there was a change. Tara was nice enough, very inexperienced. Spent a good amount of time telling me (after I asked how long she had been at Coventina) that she didn't really like her job, especially did not like doing nails and was hoping to fast-track to facials as she didn't want to do hair either. My feet are very soft as I care for them. Tara aggressively filed away until she sliced the side of my foot by my big toe and it began bleeding. I had to tell her I was bleeding. She said, "Oh wow. I can't believe I did that. I can always tell when I move from calluses skin to softer skin. I didn't feel it." I don't have callused skin on the side of my foot. No apology. It was very disappointing after the many years I have enjoyed going to Coventina. I was also the only customer in the nail room that morning - not one other customer. It was very odd; things have certainly changed.
