My feet are very soft as I care for them. Tara aggressively filed away until she sliced the side of my foot by my big toe and it began bleeding. I had to tell her I was bleeding. She said, "Oh wow. I can't believe I did that. I can always tell when I move from calluses skin to softer skin. I didn't feel it." I don't have callused skin on the side of my foot. No apology. It was very disappointing after the many years I have enjoyed going to Coventina. I was also the only customer in the nail room that morning - not one other customer. At first it was a little awkward because my masseuse did not speak English at all and she was massaging me while my husband just laid there for a good 15 minutes. She could not communicate if someone else was coming or if she would massage him after me. So he just awkwardly laid there while I was enjoying a really nice massage! (Please note I made the appointment a month in advance so I am not sure why this happened). So when his masseuse finally arrived it was much more relaxing for us both! They really did do a great job and left us feeling so relaxed. The hot stones were amazing! Neither of them spoke English and while that really did not affect their ability to give a great massage, it did make it a little awkward. We both laughed about it after because we honestly had no idea what was going on that first 15 minutes, but we did enjoy it and the ladies were very sweet. It was nice for me to be able to just lay there and chill for 15 minutes while she finished his massage! Overall, I would go again.
