Piss poor establishment, this is the second allergist I've been to that sucks. When I first started…read moregoing to them in September I thought they were pretty cool. Update April 15th, 2026. They are not. Getting my shots and testing has been great. I've been trying to get a refill on my inhaler that I've been taking consistently for years. I guess this year my insurance refused to pay for it. But insurance refuses to pay for everything so I wasn't too taken back. Insurance wants me to take a new inhaler. I know to get a couple of the medications I'm on, requires pre authorization. But for some reason this establishment refuses to do that. I've been going back in forth with them for the past month trying to get this medication through the pre authorization process. And this whole month the two nurses handling the pre authorization never initiated the process. They were making it seem like they had a hard time getting ahold of someone with my insurance. But I found out they just weren't fighting for me to get this medication approved. You know the saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" why put me on a new medication when the one I've been on for years is working perfectly fine. I was fighting back and forth with Britney (one of the nurses)who seemed awesome when I first met her. I told her I wasn't going to take this new inhaler they were trying to prescribe me. Going back and forth with her, I guess she couldn't hear me that well on the phone. So she told me "Call back when you have better service" and hung up on me. I called back 10 minutes later to speak to her again one of the reception ladies says "hold on let me get ahold of her" waited 10 minutes she comes back. "Dr. Shayegan is with patient right now but he will give you a call back shortly" I said "I asked to speak to Britney not the doctor" and she says "The doctor would like to speak with you. he will be giving you a call back shortly". So I guess the nurse got her attitude and decided to let the doctor deal with me. Doctor called me about an hour later (Dr. Shayegan) said he wasn't going to prescribe me my medication. and that even if they pre authorized the medication, Insurance would want documentation on why I can't take their preferred medication list. So that right there told me this whole entire month they submitted the pre authorization. I told him to let them know I've taken their (preferred medication) in the past and it doesn't work for me and He refused. I don't really care what they tell insurance. As long as I get my medication. Again this is not my first time trying to get a medication approved through my insurance. All of my doctors make it simple, I don't know what they do. But they get it done. And I get my prescription in my hand. Anyways he said he will not be prescribing me my inhaler that I've been taking for years. So I will be seeing my physical doctor on the matter. Never had more issues with getting a medication from any practice except this one. Front desk ladies and the couple of nurses that give me my shots frequently. Love and appreciate them. But I wouldn't recommend coming to this place. However if you have no other choice. Beware if you have asthma they might not prescribe you what you know you need, but what they think you need. 1/10 wouldn't recommend

Dr. Kim had said to give her allergy medication but that didn't work . I have allergies and I know when I take medicine i still have moments where I can breathe through my nose but my daughter nose remained constantly blocked. So we went back to the office and Dr. Kim said she would need allergy shots. That it would help a lot with her being able to breathe through her nose. My daughter was on allergy shots for quite awhile but her nose remained constantly blocked. I ended up taking her to an ENT and it turns out she had enlarged adenoids in her nose that were blocking her being able to breathe through her nose. We had them removed and she could finally breathe through her nose. I had gotten a second opinion with another allergist and they told me my daughter didn't need allergy shots. So it felt like a lot of time was wasted in getting help for my daughter. Other reasons why I would not go back is because there was a nurse ( she gave my daughter allergy shots) and a receptionist. Both of them from my experience had poor customer service skills. Sometimes the receptionist was nice but there were other times she's wasn't. Both of them just came off as snappish and rude.It wasn't something that I wanted to keep dealing with so I took my whole family who went there to another allergist.

Other doctors claimed that her eczema on her…read morecheeks and inability to keep her milk down was due to "reflux," but as a mama, I just KNEW... After testing, it was confirmed: food allergies. Dr. Yoon clearly discussed what all the results meant, and he made it easy to figure out how to move forward. By age 2, she outgrew her dairy (including egg), wheat and soy allergies - thank goodness - but she still maintained her peanut allergy. That was more manageable, and again, Dr. Yoon provided a plan for managing the allergy and what her numbers meant in a practical way. Fast forward to five years later. My youngest daughter, who was free of food allergies as far as we knew, broke out in hives out of nowhere. It concerned us. A lot. Having relied on Dr. Yoon in the past, we leaned on him again. He thankfully told us it was merely a virus and even recommended what we could expect with our coming days. We have been extremely thankful for Dr. Yoon and know we will continue to rely on him for years to come. He is knowledgeable about his expertise, provides detailed and practical advise, all with a fun and friendly demeanor on top of it all. Thank you, Dr. Yoon!

He is close minded, condescending, and does not really care about his patients. The staff was great though. His stomach is obviously full. I left crying. He is this type of doctor: Take the medications and don't even bother trying to look for alternative solutions. Deal with it because you have to live with this for the rest of your life. Update: Good to hear he is being nicer. Update 2: hey guess what? So he told me that I have to be on meds for life? Stupid doctors that don't believe in natural remedies and having a clean diet LOL. I am 100 percent hives free now because I simply changed my diet. -on candida free diet for a few months -increased garlic and water intake -drank apple cider vinegar+water every morning -drank healthy smoothies that included L-glutamine powder (for gut healing) -started juicing (don't include fruits bc of high fructose) Basically it took me about a year to figure out what happened to me without any doctor help. I had gotten colon Hydrotherapy and did not maintain proper diet. Bad bacteria took over (I had excess sugar craving) which lead to hives. I still recommend colon hydrotherapy but you must maintain clean diet (avoid sugar and anything the bad bacteria thrives on). So this "doctor" scoffed when I mentioned leaky gut syndrome. He told me not to believe everything I read on the Internet. I did thorough research and checked sources and leaky gut syndrome exists ok? Maybe you should do your research "doctor" instead of prescribing medications without even trying to help cure your patient. Look for alternative solutions, man.

They have one receptionist who is not in the office that cannot answer any questions about your personal care and if you ask to speak to the office directly you are told "they are dealing with patients and don't have time to answer phone calls". You also can't reach anyone in case of an emergency. I was reacting to a medication I was given and could not reach an on call doctor. The situation was not life threatening but serious enough that I was concerned about how it would progress and did not want to go to the ER as I did not feel like that was called for. 2: I am receiving allergy shot and my schedule at the moment is to come in twice a week, however I have been unable to do so for the past 2 weeks due to my serum being on back order. The serums are made by a doctor on staff. I was also told that I would be kept in the loop of when the serum would be in but every day that I'm scheduled to have shots I have to call in to see if I need to come in or not and am scolded for doing so. I am at the point where I want to end my treatment and just continue to be miserable due to my numerous allergies.

She has guided us on our daughter's allergy journey since then with excellent care and understanding. Last year, Dr. Gadde provided us with an option, called oral immunotherapy (OIT), as a potential way to reduce the risk of our daughter's peanut allergy. She worked with us on the decision to do OIT and has guided us through the entire 11 month journey. Through work with Dr. Gadde, our daughter is now peanut tolerant. She is on a maintenance regimen for the foreseeable future, but she can now safely consume peanuts! No rash, no wheezing, no hives, no anaphylaxis ... no reaction! We could not have done this without Dr. Gadde and the staff of Allergy and Asthma Specialists. They are truly wonderful to work with. Dr. Gadde goes above and beyond the call of any doctor we have ever experienced, answering all of a panicked mom's questions regardless of day or time. If you are looking for a new allergist, highly recommend you consider Dr. Gadde!

TLDR: Dr. Rosenthal and his staff are everything I was looking for in a doctor/doctor's office -…read moreknowledgeable, not rushed, listens to patients, compassionate, and knows the prices of services ahead of time! It's rare that I walk out of a doctor's office wanting to tell everyone how great my experience is, but that's exactly how I felt! I immediately had a positive impression when I walked in while on a work phone call and the staff told me to take my time with my call. As I filled out forms, I was surprised to get a form that actually told me what my insurance covered - the amount of my deductible, the amount I had already met, and what percentage was covered for allergy testing/allergy shots (with CPT codes too). When I asked the cost for each allergy test prick, I was floored when she could actually tell me the cost - $12 a prick or $600 for all 75 pricks. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a doctor's office and no one knew the cost of procedures or the CPT codes for the procedure. I couldn't believe it when Dr. Rosenthal spent around 30 minutes with me, in an era when most doctors are limited to 10 minutes per patient. He asked me about my allergy history and tailored his plan to what I said. When I said I didn't want to do allergy shots, he was willing to try an alternative to see if that would treat my problems. When I said I didn't want to pay $600 for all 75 allergy tests, he decided to limit the allergy tests to the ones with the most actionable plan for prevention. On top of all that, Dr. Rosenthal is older, so he's got a wealth of knowledge from first hand experience with patients. For example, he had heard of my very crazy MSG allergy and took the time to teach me how MSG affects the nervous system. He knows which allergy medicines tend to work better for most patients. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Rosenthal and will recommend him to everyone who mentions allergies to me!
