I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience. My issue is not…read morewith the medical care itself, but with the front desk/reception service. When I called to inquire about walk-in availability, the male receptionist who answered sounded as if he was half-asleep and was very difficult to understand. I genuinely could not make out what he was saying, so I politely asked him to repeat himself. Instead of clarifying, he responded in a blunt and dismissive tone. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. To top it off, right as I was wrapping up the call and saying "okay thank you," he hung up on me before I even finished my sentence. That lack of basic courtesy left a really negative impression. Again, I have no complaints about the doctors or the actual care, but the attitude of the person answering the phones makes a huge difference in how patients perceive the office. First impressions matter, and this one was disappointing.

I have been a patient at LSFP for 25 years. This practice is a shadow of what it once was. The…read moredecline has been gradual, but steady, and has reached a point where I can't recommend avoiding this practice enough. Appointments now consist of basic questions and exams that barely touch the service of issues. My last physical didn't even include a hernia exam, and I'm a 39 year old male with a history of hernias. The nurse practitioners they have on staff are under-qualified at best. The front desk staff are rude, and the intake nurses are also unprofessional. This practice has lost any idea of what customer service means and seems to now be an appointment mill that bills your insurance for telling you to buy some Motrin and get some bed rest. Today was the last straw for us. My wife recently gave birth naturally and our OBGYN recommended we see our PCP for a referral for physical therapy for a month from now to help get her back on her feet and speed her recovery. We called and scheduled an appointment for this specific purpose with the front desk who confirmed that they could give a referral for PT. After waiting for an hour, my wife was seen by a family nurse practitioner that took her temperature and blood pressure, checked her height and weight, eyes and ears, and listened to her breathing. Then, without any examination of her pelvic floor muscles, said that PT 'wasn't indicated' at this time and we should come back for another appointment after our 6 week checkup with our OBGYN for ANOTHER appointment. She explained that we had been sent by the OBGYN to get a referral but the FNP refused to issue the referral and sent her packing. I went in to address this with the front desk and they gave me the run-around, then brought out a 'provider' who first said she had seen my wife but after having me explain the whole situation told me she was just the intake nurse, then asked me to re-explain the situation, then laughed when I said I didn't want to explain myself again and wanted to talk to the actual nurse that had seen my wife. All in all it was a nice hour and fifteen minutes absolutely wasted by the front desk and clinical staff because of their inability to listen and/or be upfront about what services they are willing and able to provide. To LSFP - if you can not or will not offer a service then perhaps your front desk staff shouldn't confirm the appointment for it. Your practice used to be great, and now it is a terrible place to go for care and competent customer service. I've had better customer service at McDonald's. Your front desk staff especially leaves a lot to be desired in the professionalism department. 25 years as a patient and I have never been treated the way I was treated today. We won't be back. Get it together.

I've been struggling with pain & undiagnosed chronic health issues for 2-3 years. In general, it…read moretakes MONTHS to get an appointment with specialists, get tests run, and honestly just have a doctor listen and be willing to order various tests. There's been a lot of doctors where I make an appointment while I'm in the middle of debilitating pain but they can't see me for a month, then a month later my condition isn't the same upon the time of appointment. The doctors can't recreate my symptoms on the spot in their office and because I didn't end up in the hospital, they determine that my condition is probably just stress/anxiety and they just order more blood work to "just be sure." I've had to redo this process at least 4 times over the last 2-3 years and I'm still experiencing chronic pain. At this urgent care, the doctor literally sat next to me and scrolled through recent blood tests that I had on my phone and reviewed them on the spot rather than asking me to send them to her directly, she was willing to look at the video recording I had of my muscles uncontrollable twitching, she did an ultrasound of my entire upper body on the spot, she had more blood drawn to get a few other tests done on the spot, she gave me an MRI order for multiple areas of my body on the spot without requiring me get referred to a specialist to get them and wait months, and literally addressed all of my concerns within a single visit. This process would have taken me 2-4months with specialists and my previous primary care physician. I do not yet have a diagnosis but having found a doctor who was willing to simply listen to my experiences, run tests, and attempt to address my problems in a timely manner after 2-3 years of chronic pain feels like a blessing. I literally cried after leaving from the relief. This urgent care is amazing 100/100

Considering it is an urgent clinic and not even being checked in for 45 mins on a non busy morning i felt like I needed to share this experience. Thankfully my condition wasn't too serious. My first visit with Dr Yoon was in 2017 when he worked in an office in Chantilly. I went for myself…read morebecause I thought I was allergic to a specific food but my results showed that I was not. Fast forward to 2020, I noticed that my daughter seemed to be having allergy issues so I decided to seek out Dr Yoon again because his service was outstanding during my visit with him. I was happy to find that he opened his own practice in Ashburn so I scheduled an appointment for my daughter. The scheduling process was very swift and I was able to sign up to their patient portal on the same day with the assistance of the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. I took my daughter to her appointment yesterday and was very pleased with the cleanliness, high tech equipment and aroma of the office. The women at the front desk were friendly and greeted us with a smile. We arrived about 15 minutes early and did not have to wait until our appointment time to be seen. Just as I had remembered, Dr Yoon was very pleasant and easy going. My daughter was found to be allergic to trees and cat hair. Dr Yoon was super informative, knowledgeable and gave us more than enough information on treating her allergies moving forward. He also gave us a good amount of sample products to take home with us. I highly recommend him for your allergy needs. He was willing, ready and able to answer all of the questions we had. He took his time and that alone shows that he's passionate about the work he does. I highly recommend his office.

This is unusual because when I made the initial appointment, it was cleared with one of the doctors, but now all of a sudden I'm told it can't be done without an additional appointment. This completely disrupts my surgery, which had been scheduled for two days after the testing was completed. I can't speak to the quality of the care, but the front office, the physicians, the nurses, one or all of them need to spend less time worrying about insurance numbers and more time worrying about the communication in their office.
