She only took 5 minutes to examine and treat my daughter after she was admitted to the ER the night before. Furthermore, she did not provide any medical treatment plan to follow. You would think she would take the time to properly assess my daughter's symptoms and not dismiss our concerns after a serious ER visit. She appeared disinterested and numb to the work shes doing. It is unfortunate because I previously respected this practice and the level of care Dr. Clayton and Dr. Assefa gave to our family. Dr. Clayton and Dr. Assefa in particular, were previously treating my daughter and took exceptional care in making sure our questions were answered and we had a proper treatment plan in place. They were kind, patient, and did not rush through the appointment.

One took me back and we went over my concerns for the visit in regards to my skin. She was very clear and covered the basics and more. When it came time to see the doctor, she didn't seem very attentive and rushed though it. I was confused because I was on time for my appointment and there were no other patients (that I could see) in the office at the time. Towards the end of the appointment, she actually got up to leave while I was still asking questions. I have pretty clear skin on my face, but not my body, so I did have a few questions to ask on how to approach clearing it up. I've had bacne for 15+ years and have tried tons of products. She had mentioned that the scarring looked like something that started recently and I was kind of shocked because I feel like a dermatologist should be able to determine what's newer vs something that is a decade old. That made me side-eye her knowledge a bit. She didn't really offer much advice and prescribed a wash and called it a day. I wish she was more interested in helping me with the issue, but it felt like she had better things to do than help me.

I'm on shot maintence and couldn't be happier. I did have a bad reaction to one shot and had to get pulled off of it, so I still have issues with those allergens, but so far so good! They have you come in twice a year for a follow up. I assume they do this because your allergies could be controlled one season and not so much the next, so with the ever changing seasons and different allergens that are high depending on the seasons, they want to make sure you're doing ok and that you're improving with the shots and current meds. They are very thorough and ask many questions so they can adjust your daily meds if needed. The only downside is a small window for allergy shots that you sign up for and with many patients coming in for shots, it can make the waiting room overcrowded and sometimes run late.

I was very impressed and would highly recommend Dr. Schuster. These days, I think it is rare to find a doctor who actually spends more than a few minutes with you, but after filing out all the regular paperwork, I was able to sit down with the doctor for probably 20 minutes and discuss all my reasons for being there today. She answered all of my questions and during the testing when I started not feeling so well, she didn't make me feel self-conscious - she explained the reaction I was having and encouraged me to do more research on it. It's rare that I walk out of a doctor's office wanting to tell everyone how great my experience is, but that's exactly how I felt! I immediately had a positive impression when I walked in while on a work phone call and the staff told me to take my time with my call. As I filled out forms, I was surprised to get a form that actually told me what my insurance covered - the amount of my deductible, the amount I had already met, and what percentage was covered for allergy testing/allergy shots (with CPT codes too). When I asked the cost for each allergy test prick, I was floored when she could actually tell me the cost - $12 a prick or $600 for all 75 pricks. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a doctor's office and no one knew the cost of procedures or the CPT codes for the procedure. I couldn't believe it when Dr. Rosenthal spent around 30 minutes with me, in an era when most doctors are limited to 10 minutes per patient. He asked me about my allergy history and tailored his plan to what I said. When I said I didn't want to do allergy shots, he was willing to try an alternative to see if that would treat my problems. When I said I didn't want to pay $600 for all 75 allergy tests, he decided to limit the allergy tests to the ones with the most actionable plan for prevention. On top of all that, Dr. Rosenthal is older, so he's got a wealth of knowledge from first hand experience with patients. For example, he had heard of my very crazy MSG allergy and took the time to teach me how MSG affects the nervous system. He knows which allergy medicines tend to work better for most patients. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Rosenthal and will recommend him to everyone who mentions allergies to me!

Cindy the nurse is also very kind, efficient and will look for you if you need samples to tide you over before getting a prescription. All the staff are nice but a shout-out to Sandy and Cindy. When my youngest was sent to the ER with an allergic reaction I was told by the ER that it would probably take several months before I would be able to be seen by an allergist. I had already known this from my eldest's previous experience with Dr. Kaufman and was prepared to wait. Imagine my delight and surprise when I was able to get a next day appointment with their new provider Dr. Eghrari-Sabet. Dr. Eghari-Sabet was absolutely fantastic to work with. She asked the right questions, had a great beside manner, and was very proactive with all of the follow up appointments and protocol. I could tell from the get-go that she was passionate about her work and great at what she does. All of the information went right into the our portal which made our conversation easy to track. Our nurse Hannah was also great with making sure that all of our school forms were filled out correctly and quickly. It's great to see this office grow and expand their services to new patients. It would wake me every night, and keep me from enjoying many things in life. Dr. Nsouli put me on a comprehensive plan, freeing me of my issues. I almost never use my rescue inhaler now. He is extremely educated in many issues, always takes the time to understand and answer all of my questions, and never makes me feel rushed. Dr. Nsouli is a very kind, caring person, who comes across as someone who knows what he's doing without coming off as arrogant. I've had severe allergies all my life, and Dr. Nsouli is the fourth one I've seen over the past twenty years. He's definitely been one of the top two, mostly because he realized that one reason why I have trouble staying awake (something I thought was completely irrelevant but he asked about it anyway) was because the allergy medication I was currently taking made me sleepy. No other doctor I've seen ever made this connection. When you have to get refills on your allergy serum, you always meet up with a nurse practitioner, not Dr. Nsouli himself. I imagine this is standard protocol, since the good Dr.'s time is valuable and you're not going because of a problem, you just need a refill on meds.

Fast forward to 2020, I noticed that my daughter seemed to be having allergy issues so I decided to seek out Dr Yoon again because his service was outstanding during my visit with him. I was happy to find that he opened his own practice in Ashburn so I scheduled an appointment for my daughter. The scheduling process was very swift and I was able to sign up to their patient portal on the same day with the assistance of the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. I took my daughter to her appointment yesterday and was very pleased with the cleanliness, high tech equipment and aroma of the office. The women at the front desk were friendly and greeted us with a smile. We arrived about 15 minutes early and did not have to wait until our appointment time to be seen. Just as I had remembered, Dr Yoon was very pleasant and easy going. My daughter was found to be allergic to trees and cat hair. Dr Yoon was super informative, knowledgeable and gave us more than enough information on treating her allergies moving forward. He also gave us a good amount of sample products to take home with us. I highly recommend him for your allergy needs. He was willing, ready and able to answer all of the questions we had. He took his time and that alone shows that he's passionate about the work he does. Communication not good. I made an appointment for allergy testing prior to surgery, 2+ weeks later…read moreand one day prior to the scheduled testing the office called and told me that an additional visit was necessary. This is unusual because when I made the initial appointment, it was cleared with one of the doctors, but now all of a sudden I'm told it can't be done without an additional appointment. This completely disrupts my surgery, which had been scheduled for two days after the testing was completed. I can't speak to the quality of the care, but the front office, the physicians, the nurses, one or all of them need to spend less time worrying about insurance numbers and more time worrying about the communication in their office.
