The selection is pretty good and fairly fashionable/current but the prices are a bit high for a second hand store. There are little sections of what appears to be handmade jewelry around the store which is really pretty. The thing that turned me off most to this store was the sign in the dressing room yelling at the customer to put back the clothes they try on. What? What self respecting store does that? It's just pure laziness. I don't think even gold mine forces their customers to put their clothes back on the rack and they're a charity and volunteer run! You're also greeted by a "no public bathroom" sign before you even step in the door which just makes it seem really unwelcoming. If I was the owners/workers (listen up guys!) I would take down that sign and if anyone asks for a bathroom then you say "sorry we don't have one, but there's one down the block in front of park side deli". That way you're being helpful and not accusatory. As for the dressing room sign, come on. I get it it can get busy but you're asking your customers to do your job for you. If you really can't for whatever reason find yourself to put the clothes back, a sign hat says "In this busy summer season, it would be very helpful to us if you could return clothes to where you found them after trying them on. Thank you :)"

I saw they have some sort of rewards program too where you write your name down on a card and grab the card from the front every time you come in, I think - kind of like a filing system. Interesting and unique. They ALSO have a pressed penny machine here, and I collect pressed pennies, so I was excited about that too.

Prices are VERY high--often at or even above retail for many items, which defeats the purpose of shopping secondhand. You're better off buying brand new in some cases. The selection of quality items is meager, with most of the inventory being either outdated, worn, or simply overpriced for the condition it's in. It feels more like a boutique trying to cash in on the thrift trend than a store genuinely serving the community with affordable options.
