My back yard is on the edge of a conservancy and always mostly in shade and the ground stays soft so when a previous service had used a standing mower it left deep ruts in the yard that had to be filled. I told David this and asked not to use the standing mower but his guys used the standing mower anyway. The front of the house really cannot be done with the standing mower. David will no longer be doing anything in my yard.

About a dozen years ago, we put in a large paver and retaining wall project in our backyard. Over…read morethe years, however, the retaining wall seemed to fail, and the brick patio became uneven. I actually had 5 hardscape companies from Madison come out and look at the project and give me a bid. Fact is only 2 of them were willing to do the project, but the guy from Herman landscaping said that repairing the project was in the wheelhouse of Jorge Diaz of Diaz Landscaping. When Jorge came out to look at the project, he really got an idea of the scope of the work and what would need to be done. Unlike some of the others, he said his crew would clean all the bricks, reuse them as well as the stone from the retaining wall. That was in August, and he told us that it is possible he would be able to do our job at the end of November. In October, he told me that the project would be done and we sent him a 50% deposit for the work. At the end of November, he began the project with his 2 brothers and his brother-in-law. This is his crew. They did a great job. 1/3rd of the job was removing all the brick pavers in the patio, which was about 800 ft² ,taking down a short retaining wall. They cleaned all the bricks as well as the stones. They brought in new gravel and pitched the deck correctly. They worked when it rained. We did have 2 snow days, though. When they were done, they cleaned up the site. Jorge had the vision on how this product project was going to proceed, and he executed it with his crew. I am very confident that he would be able to do any type of hardscaping project. Today, I was pleased to pay him for the work he and his crew completed. Diaz Landscaping is highly recommended for your hardscaping needs.

I honestly can not say enough about South Central Landscapes. We moved into our Milton home less…read morethan a year ago. The owner had put in a french drain system because there had been a water problem in basement from a freak ice storm. We thought it had been taken care of until in April we had a downpour like no other--water came in to our beautifully finished basement. On closer exam we discovered the yard was sloping slightly TOWARDS the house--also the patio was too high causing water to go towards foundation. From the moment I spoke with Kayla at SCL I knew we were dealing with good people. The team quickly came out to assess the problem and within a couple weeks started the project--these people are amazing, talented, and professional but personable.
