This is an awesome venue with a small crowd with top end performances. Kudos to all the actors and actresses that have participated in the 2024 season. You all did a fabulous job. I'd also like to thank The Wonderette's for including me in their performance, it will be the highlight of my Christmas season. Thank you very much.. As for the venue, they have a small gift shop with wonderful trinkets to remember your time at the theater. The box office is usually open at the beginning of any performances last minute tickets sales are usually available. There was also a wonderful snack bar with some great homemade goodies and drinks. The staff is always very polite and accommodating. I highly advise anyone that has not visited to make it a point to purchase some tickets to a show here you will be very pleased. FYI, I believe it's only on street parking. Just come a little bit early to secure a spot on the street close to the theater.

I've studied voice with at least a half dozen different voice teachers, and Ruth is one of the…read morebest. I would still be studying for her if it weren't for a move. Sometimes music teachers seem to follow a prescribed order of exercises or warmups out of a book, but Ruth gives careful thought to the exercises that will benefit each singer, whether they need to work on relaxing the jaw, connecting head and chest voice, or creating long, fluid lines (if you're a new to voice, she'll break it down in a way that's not too technical or intimidating). She gives input on song selection, but also lets students work on the songs that interest them. When I ran into issues, she wouldn't hold back but gives critiques in a constructive way. When my voice was working well, she gave very specific (rather than generic or vague) feedback so I could duplicate it and know exactly *why* it's working. We talked about the mechanics of how you sing, as well as the nuances of phrasing, style, and expression. The online system she uses for scheduling lessons and keeping track of payment ensures that you don't waste lesson time sorting out those details. Her enthusiasm and professionalism are top-notch and she genuinely cares about her students' musical and personal development. Overall, I would highly recommend her to beginning or advanced singers!

Some students have joined the studio to prepare for auditions or roles; others want to tackle stage fright issues; some take weekly lessons just for the pure joy of singing. Along the way, Ruth helps all her students develop confidence and stage presence, encouraging them to be expressive singers and performers. Students learn in a relaxed and nurturing environment as Ruth guides them toward a healthy vocal technique and strong musical skills. Prospective students need not have prior training - Ruth teaches students of all levels and abilities. Ruth's individualized approach ensures that each student develops a strong foundation in vocal technique and, with regular practice, progresses rapidly from week to week.

While my child was enrolled in camp here, this same staff member charged us a full day's extended…read moreday fee for a mere 5-minute late pickup -- four separate times, totaling four full days of charges -- with no advance notice, no grace period, and no communication whatsoever; it was enforced entirely at his own discretion. Even more concerning, the enforcement was clearly inconsistent: I personally observed that not every family who arrived late was charged the same way, with no transparency or fairness in how the rule was applied. Beyond the billing issue, I personally witnessed this same individual harshly and aggressively question a child in front of others about why he didn't want to perform on stage, then rudely demand that the parent take the child home immediately. The fact that the same person applies inconsistent, arbitrary charges to parents while also treating children with this kind of confrontational hostility suggests a consistent pattern of behavior, not an isolated incident. This is not the patience, professionalism, or basic respect a program serving young children should have.
