Recently (well, a year or so ago) renamed The Foundry, this bar tends to be a fairly quiet, chilled out place during the week, with the music turned down low enough for you to chat, but at weekends it is one of the places to go for the youth of Inverness. On Saturday nights, the dancefloor is packed with girls wearing next to nothing, although - due to not having a late license - the majority of it's clientele will strut off to one of the local clubs, Bakoo or Love, around 11pm.
The Yard/Foundry also has a pool table upstairs, one of the few trendy pubs to feature one. The bar staff are always friendly and helpful, and the drink is very nicely priced. read more
