The blackberry cold foam on top was AMAZING! I couldn't stop thinking about it so we went back the next day and I got it again...still amazing! My boyfriend also enjoyed his pistachio cold brew. You definitely need to stop here for your coffee fix.

First time here. I was in Chippewa Falls to see some family and found this place right next to the…read moreChophouse where we had dinner the night before. It's a nice spot, with a large windowed storefront and inviting signage. Inside is a large open area with the order counter toward the rear. An old brick wall, metal lighting fixtures, and a tin ceiling give it a vintage vibe. There are café tables with metal chairs for small groups. The noise level is reasonable, and it's easy to have a conversation. They have an extensive coffee menu, including tea lattes. But the one thing that really stood out was the bakery selection. They have items called Cornetto, which look like croissants. I was told they're similar and used in similar ways (fillings, glazes, etc.). We ended up getting a coffee, a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), a Custard Danish, and an Apple Almond Scone. It didn't take long to get our order, and everything was amazingly good. The London Fog was made with loose-leaf tea and steeped well. The pastries were fresh, large, and very yummy. Everything was also very reasonably priced (you spend way more than this in most places -- and that's not something I usually fixate on). Excellent experience. Friendly service, excellent food and drinks, great value, and a warm atmosphere. If I could make one suggestion, it would be the metal chairs -- I just didn't find them very comfortable. Definitely on the "come back to" list!

It's in a nice multi use development off River Prairie in a stand alone building shared with several other businesses. They have a great outdoor patio area as well, with some shade. So we were quickly seated by the hostess ( who also brought us tortilla chips and salsas. Within a minute a waiter(we assumed) came over and asked if we wanted to order any drinks. We give him our order and off he goes. In a few minutes another waiter comes to our table and asks the same thing. I tell him we just provided another waiter with our order. His response, oh, that's the bus boy??? ‍ So we give him the drink order and off he goes. After our drinks arrive our waiter asks if we are ready to order and we give him our order as it is starting to get busy with some larger tables filling up. We ended up ordering the carne asada plate and a chicken tamale plate with extra pork tamale. All the plates come with beans and rice as sides. Our meals arrive and they look great. Unfortunately, the carne asada was very tough. Not sure if they marinaded it at all or what, but was very tough. This is my wife's go to meal when eating Mexican, so she is very familiar with how it should taste and even cut. Sadly the tortillas were very greasy, which you can see in the pictures. Not sure if they sprayed them with oil before heating, but not great. My tamales were just ok. Meat was very dry even when I added a a lot of hot sauce. The rice and beans were ok as well. So overall kind of average. Would I come back again, probably not. There seemed to be a lot of Mexican restaurants in the Altoona/Eau Claire area that I would try before coming back.

I could go for a latte, so I followed the signs. Wonders of Nature is a cute combo of cafe and dispensary. My review is based on the cafe alone. I ordered a matcha latte with one of their house-made syrups. The matcha was good quality, but the flavor not as strong as I'd like. It was pretty milky. The house-made vanilla syrup was delish and sweet. The decor was so cute in this spot. Ample seating, very cozy and inviting. Lots of charm and greenery. They also offer locally-made jewelry, mugs, and tie-dye tees. The baristas were so sweet and down to earth! Good spot to enjoy a coffee or shop for your 420 goods.

We were greeted warmly and then seated ourselves. Our server, David, was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. We had espresso, chai, and shared the non-cheese charcuterie board. The board was accompanied by a warm crusty loaf of thickly sliced bread (GF available) that I used to make the most delicious little prosciutto sandwiches. Another memorable treat was the positively addictive rosemary walnuts. We decided to split dessert and chose a slice of the flourless chocolate cake. The cake was accented by some raspberries that leant a perfect pop of brightness to the rich, Belgian chocolate cake. This was simple food done perfectly and we loved it. So much so that I brought my husband and daughter back later that afternoon for the cheese charcuterie board, sandwiches and drinks. Same great service and delicious, fresh food. We plan to watch the Packers pre- season game there this weekend - rationalizing we will save money by not having to pay for YouTube TV lol. This warm, sophisticated, and charming place is a gem.
