I love sewing creating just about anything. But was worn out so I took it to Montevilla Sewing Ctr... their best technician, Gary rebuilt it like new! And unbelievable they didn't charge as much as I expected, andI would've paid twice that because was worth it! A few years later I'd worn it out again and Gary made it almost new again, but he told me was probably time to get a new machine so I decided they were right... I was giving the best deal ever On the Ellagio, but I've worn that one out too. and also got a BL serger...& a 6 needle/thread BL embroidery machine .... ive sewn a few hundred miles of stitches! so far it hasn't worn out. When I had a problem with one of the machines...no questions asked they replaced it immediately only to discover it was operator error my but they we're always kind and gracious. I need to replace my worn out machine soon and I know they will do the best for my next purchase! I will never go anywhere else! Montevilla Sewing has earned my trust! When he walked out and introduced himself, and told my son, "You drive with your mind, but more importantly, with your heart," (something to that effect) I knew we were in good hands. Make sure you can't be sick and reschedule. Your urgency is their business. Anyway if you are ok with their price and if you pass the test, it's worth it. Otherwise let's talk money, you pay $85 again. Your luck, their call. Tips- the girl at the counter is very nice and friendly. When you pay to schedule, ask her for test evaluation sheet so you have a clue what your kid will be doing. They will not offer that info automatically (almost like because they kinda want you to fail and pay another $85 to reschedule). I asked so she kindly explained the rule that you can fail "minors" up to 8 points and still pass. But "major" faults is a 1 time thing-- such as red light, stop sign violations, or anything that makes the examiner step on brake (yes they have brake on passenger side!) it will cause you exit the test right away. Another thing you should know, unlike at DMV you do not get to drive your car that you are familiar with. They only have Kia and it's gas. If you are used to EV pedals make sure you borrow grandpa's gas car for a day. I minus one star for just that. On the day you might have 2 examiners, one new and one supervisor in the back. The exam is quick like 20 minutes around town. Mostly about intersections, change lanes, using signals. No highway (disappointed). No parallel parking (very disappointed). Please please teach your kids to be proficient in parking for their own sake. After all it's NOT hard to pass. If your kid has been driving with you daily for at least a year, you shouldn't be worried at all. $85 is good investment and worth not to deal with DMV attitudes.

If this is a training salon, that should be explained upfront--not used as an excuse after a failed result. Very unprofessional. Just having the graduation paper from NPTI will NOT qualify you for a personal training job. For liability and insurance purposes you MUST have a nationally recognized certification. The students that I have hired from NPTI through Crunch, 24 hour fitness as well as my own gym are not at all prepared for the personal trainer job world like they should be for the amount of money they have spent on NPTI. They cover absolutely no sales skills (which is a GIANT part of training) Every NPTI student that I have encountered has been very surprised they have to do any sales when they finish their program. Their practical application of training isnt where it should be for the cost of NPTI. Save your money. Do your NASM or Precision Nutrition yourself. Find a trainer mentor instead. Having a mentor is free. PCC has an amazing nutrition program that is taught by people that went to college for nutrition and dont just have a cert. It breaks my heart and infuriates me that places like this take advantage of unsuspecting people. Go to Portland Community College instead so you have credits that you can apply to an associates degree or just get your certification and start applying for jobs.

In the next class, that instructor was no longer available and my child was placed with a different instructor. During the lesson, he became very upset and had difficulty continuing the session while in the water. After that experience, he stopped wanting to continue and refused to enter the building. We were still charged for the following month, and a refund or transfer was not approved. Communication around makeup lessons and billing was also not clear. Overall, we decided not to continue.
