When I purchased the most recent gun, I requested a 2-year warranty, which they are not honoring. My company had to pay for a rental at $1800/ month; now they quoted $5800 for repairs. On 4/5/2022, I contacted "The XRF Company" via their website to sell them a Viking Pb200i XRF Analyzer. They claim to return your inquiring in less than 24 hours. Two days later, on 4/7/2022, I was contacted by Alessandro via email. He thanked me for contacting the company and asked if the unit worked properly, serial #, working source, etc.. We emailed back and forth until he asked how much I want for the unit. I told him at least $15,500 as I paid $19,000 for the unit 1.5 years ago. His response was: "We can buy a new one for $13,500 with one year warranty and fresh source. We are willing to offer 5k. If agreed, we will mail a certified check today." These units absolutely DO NOT sell for $13,500 - an outright LIE! At this time, I looked on their website and they are selling the same exact used unit as mine for $16,990. This company advertises on their website: "Trust, Empathy, Authority, Character, and Honest." Really? He claimed Alex made a mistake on the price of a new unit. Then Troy offered me 6K for the unit!!!! What??? Clearly this company is not interested in doing business fairly.
