Because it is a stucco home with decorative wood trim, we knew the work could be expensive and would take someone with the right skills to accomplish. We used Homeadvisor to find pros to come look at the home and give us estimates. Risk Free referred us to a great sub-contractor to do all the exterior wood replacement and repairs needed, and then Risk Free started their work. They were very detail oriented, and made sure we were satisfied. We were nervous that because our home is stucco, that we would need additional coats of paint. The painters did an amazing job, and it made our house really look new again (and it was built in 1926)! We would recommend Risk Free without hesitation.

I would highly recommend Jimdandi Painting for any painting needs. For us, they did a fabulous job…read moreon our home exterior. I could not have been more satisfied! Note that this is not a typical painting company: the owner Dan works with just two other men and it was obvious that all three took great pride in their work. When Dan came to do the estimate he did an excellent job first listening then explaining their process and materials. He made it clear that they wouldn't be the cheapest because their company and approach are different. Dan carefully customized the service based on our situation. For example, with our house, the builder did a poor job installing the HardiPlank siding, thus there were loose boards and many more nail holes and gaps than would have otherwise been present. Dan suggested a different grade of chalk that would expand and contract more than the typical painters chalk that is applied and can be painted over immediately. In this case, after the house was thoroughly cleaned, the crew checked and secured all loose planks, scraped and chalked, and then allowed the caulk to cure for a week before starting the painting. This is just one example of the care Dan and his crew took during the job. Bottomline, if you want and excellent job that I'm convinced will perform and look great for many years, contact Jimdandi Painting.

We contacted Tim to get a quote for exterior trim painting (our home is brick). We had used him…read morebefore and had good results. We walked him around our house and pointed out specific areas where we felt we needed additional attention (weather affected trim due sun exposure). We were very interested in caulking of joints at fascia boards since we built the house ten (10) years ago and joints can shrink over time and with weather exposure. The project included power washing to remove dust and dirt from surfaces to be painted. In addition, we added power washing for our aggregate walk-up patio and front porch and steps. He provided a quote and we accepted and setup the schedule. The project started (04/27/2026) with Trent visiting and going through the plan with us. The first day involved power washing all surfaces. On the second day (04/28), the team got started early on the painting process. The team that performed the work was excellent (a young man, his mother, his wife, and his sister). They worked very well together and were very courteous and professional. They did an excellent job of caulking all seams and any cracks. They paid attention to detail and ensured that we had crisp lines (no paint on the brick, etc.) which is very important. The job was completed late that same day and we walked around with the team leader to check all areas. On 04/29/2026, we met with the Project Manager (Trent) and walked around the entire house, checking all areas. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the result. We highly recommend this firm (Legacy Painting) for any painting project.

This man Mike Pluckett is horrible, do not I repeat do not hire him for any work…read more I hired him to perform some projects at my rental that included staining a backyard fence.I have red rocks down next to the fence and the color of the fence that was needing re-stained was a reddish color he did not ask me and stained the fence a black color which did not match and looked horrible. This left me with the only choice of now having to paint it has I cannot stain a lighter color so essentially he ruined my fence at least changed the entire characteristic of it. He then became frustrated when after agreeing that he would paint when I wanted to choose a color. He chose a color on his own that was a yellow and when asked not to begin until we agree on a color he became infuriated and left with the other projects not yet completed and he still charged me. He has a horrible character and becomes very angry very easily with any critique of his work, Mike this is our home you do not get to be the primary decision-maker and you need to take time and listen to the homeowners that you are working with you have horrible customer service and I advise any users not to use your services. He started soon after the estimate which I thought was nice but was not imperative for my needs; however he immediately turned pretty labile in character as he constantly was complaining that my work was putting him behind schedule I suppose he should not have began as I did not demand he begin immediately.

Art Dept. painters are a name to remember because they are everything you would want in a painting…read morecompany for your home. We will always just call them when we need more painting. We have a good-sized home and just had them paint the WHOLE first floor (regular & coffered ceilings, all crown molding, walls, wall base, window frames, even closets). Their quote was thoughtful and reasonable, because we sure learned how much work it is to paint a home PROPERLY. A sharp & professional effort like theirs makes me see the big difference in quality. They are methodical in their work plan, and perfectionists with caulking, spackling/sanding, & painting. Every night my husband would walk around & inspect their work & comment how really excellent the quality of their work was. Their communication was good, they arrived same time every day, & their paint/caulk was very high-quality which makes more difference than most realize. A lot of people can paint, but we were super thankful that the Art Dept. painters (all of them) were also courteous, prompt, respectful, and just made the whole process easier for our family. And nice was that they all got along, talked/laughed, and often either quietly listened to books on tape or podcasts, or played really nice music. The owner, Jeremiah was lead painter w/another co. on the exterior of our house many years ago, so we were pleased to have him back again. He has his own company now and has gathered impressive others to work with him. They are wrapping up now ... I can hear them vacuuming! Yes, they vacuum! They are tidy and clean up daily!
