My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. The first review spoke about how the stylists discussed how difficult my hair was to blowout while working on me, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and guilty for even coming in in the first place. After that experience, I decided to give them another try and left feeling better about this location. I deleted the review and moved on. Please be aware if you have any texture or thickness in your hair, you will be disappointed. Every time I've come in, I've left notes for the staff to give them a heads up that I have thick and curly hair and to please give whichever stylist a heads up. If, for whatever reason, my hair is too challenging to work on, I'd rather them call me to tell me and cancel my appointment instead of wasting my time. Today, was my final straw at this location. It seems like no matter what, the staff is always struggling to blowout my hair. You'd think between 3 different stylists my hair would turn out looking somewhat decent.... you'd be wrong. I knew as soon as they turned me around in that chair that I'd have to come home a fix my hair, which is exactly what I had to do. The 2 stylists were in a rush to leave to their other commitments, which I totally understand. But, if everyone is in a rush and there's no one to take over for them then the quality of the blowout falls through the cracks. First of all this Salon is incredibly irresponsible every single time I've had an appointment they've rescheduled it, cancelled it, or were very late. What Jay does not tell you as he will initially put in your extensions and then he sticks you with a much lesser skilled stylist for all of your touchup needs and he will not deal with you until you have to put an extensions again. When Yvette had to touch up my roots which is the first time I was not happy with, the second time she asked you what color he used and he didn't even know! He didn't even write down the colors that he used on me because clearly he does not care about his clients and told her to just do what she felt like and figuring it out which ended up with her putting bleach on my hair and frying it off and over toning it until it turned a green tint color. While taking out my extensions she literally ripped off my real hair, at the root. I'm missing chunks of hair. I'm devastated. Jay responded to this by saying "well what do you want me to do?". No I'm sorry, no let's try to deep condition and salvage what you have. No refund, no accountability. He said "extensions and bleach don't damage your hair". Ummm there's a reason I said no bleach.
