Her weekend time slots are either noon or 4pm.   Then it's 90 minutes of fun slime and bath bomb making activities.  There are other party themes available and you can check them if interested on her website. She will also take individual and group photos for you.  The kids all had a blast as did us bystanders and there was zero dead time.   The daughter mentioned the value for the fun time was pretty dang good for this nice, cozy, and novel alternative to other party venues out there these days.   Big thumbs up and I mentioned to Donna I would give her another appreciated Yelp review as her count is currently 46:1 on Google:Yelp reviews and they're all very good!

They had a good variety of tent sizes which was nice and better than other places I saw online. I also liked the option of the wooden folding chairs to make things look unique without spending money on chiavari chairs. They also accommodated a last minute addition of a patio heater to our order due to a quick change in the weather. Delivery, setup and pickup was seamless. My only issue was for our highboy cocktail tables, no one recommended floor length linens and sashes. All of my other linens were floor length and I wish they would have noticed that and made sure it all matched. When I realized I didn't have sashes for them, the delivery guy said I would have had to request them. I didn't think of it when ordering and I would have liked someone to make the suggestion.

Are you not a dancer? Do you and your future husband have no dancing experience whatsoever? Then,…read morePhillipa is for you!! Phillipa did an AMAZING job working with my husband and I on our first dance. Not only is she extremely patient, but she is VERY professional and really loves working with all levels of dancers (inexperienced dancers included). Phillipa met with my husband and I four different times. When she first told me that we would have an entire dance perfected in four sessions, I laughed. There was no way that my husband and I (two inexperienced dancers) would learn an entire routine in four sessions. She proved us wrong! Not only did we have our entire first dance perfected, but we had a blast each time we worked with her. After each session, she typed out the lyrics to our wedding song (You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne) and the dance moves that went along with each line/stanza. She doesn't charge by the hour and spent as much time as we needed perfecting a particular dance move. She is extremely affordable and is flexible about meeting you for your dance lessons. Our guests really loved our dance and could not believe how flawless our dance turned out. The first dance can be stressful, especially because you know all of the guests' eyes will be on you (not to mention the videographer and the photographers). Having met with Phillipa to teach us our first dance helped alleviate some of this stress and we had a great time dancing the night away! We would definitely recommend using Phillipa to help with your wedding dance! Meghan and Nick

We then luckily found JiveRoc. Phillipa came to our apartment and ended up choreographing our entire dance. Tom and I had so much fun after the first lesson we couldn't stop practicing after she left. She was wonderful. Our dance was challenging for us, but not too much that it wasn't enjoyable or hard to remember. At the wedding it was a complete success and all of our guests couldn't believe our dancing skills. Phillipa also gave us some tips for dancing with our parents that helped a lot too. I loved working with Phillipa. She was such a fantastic dance teacher. We know have moves to use when on a dance floor anywhere. We are so much more comfortable. Thank you JiveRoc!

The crazy part of this planning process is that you start booking everything when they are 10 years old. A 10 year old is a lot different than a 13 year old so trying to find a Emcee that's the right personality fit so early on can be challenging. After meeting with a few different companies I decided Hype was my favorite. They were super organized and responsive, which is a dream for a Type A gal like myself. After some research I had a feeling that Jess King would be a good fit for my daughter so we got on a zoom since meeting in person in the thick of covid wasn't an option. Jess was super cute and bubbly and my daughter felt at ease chatting with her. While I had no idea if Jess would still be a good fit for her 2.5 years later we signed a contract and hoped for the best. Hype is one of the larger entertainment companies in the area so you can get way more than a DJ/dancers from them. We added on the following: - live instruments (dummer, guitarist, saxophonist): they were also supposed to play outside when people walked in, but it ended up being too chilly of a night. However, it was great having them play along with the DJ - 360 Boomerang Photo booth Experience: a huge hit and something different from the typical photo booths - VRX Station: 1 year+ before the party my daughter insisted on a skiing VR game to go with her winter theme. While some kids seemed to enjoy it, Hype did such a great job keeping the kids on the dance floor that we could have probably gone without this. - Roaming Digital Photo Station: fun way for guests to capture images of themselves at the party and send directly to their phones. - Jam Box Interactive Games for the cocktail hour: They didn't end up using this since my daughter had so many speeches, but i love the idea of bringing in games for a boys party when there usually aren't as many speeches. - Cyro blast finale: my first thought was that it was expensive for a glorified fire extinguisher, but my daughter was having the time of her life spraying everyone and it made for some pretty awesome pics. - Light up staging & uplights: worked perfectly with all our beautiful decor Jazmine (owner) and Renea (office manager) were so on top of everything throughout the process that I never needed to worry about anything. And Jess certainly delivered the night of the party as well; she was a bundle of energy! A few days before the party we had a final call with Jess and she was sick with a bad cold. I had a slight freakout that we weren't going to have an Emcee, but my planner reminded me this was one of the benefits of going with a big company like Hype. If Jess was sick there would be a backup and while we wanted Jess that's certainly better than no Emcee. Fortunately, Jess recovered just in time! My son is 10 and we're starting to plan his bar mitzvah next. He prefers to have a male Emcee so we recently met with Rob from Hype, who was also a dancer at my daughter's bat mitzvah. He wow'd us as much as Jess did with his sparkling personality. While I can't speak for all their Emcees, I'm super impressed with this company overall and think both Jess and Rob are amazing Emcee choices.

We'd been to Cluckers several times, and we know the quality of our lunches and dinners. That said, we assumed our catering would be as good. Well, I'd say I was wrong... it was better! The folks at Cluckers Catering helped us understand exactly how much to order, and wow... the service and quality were beyond compare. So much so, that we actually are repeat customers, and have had all of our friends ask who we used. The food arrived, hot where it should and chilled where it should. We did Chips n Guac, 2350 Salad, THE Chicken, Garlic Smashed, and of course, cluckers sauce. Debs Brownies were an immediate hit, and we probably should have had more... All in all, I would highly recommend Cluckers Catering... if you've ever been there you know. If you haven't, you should.
