This place is just another coffee chain, they offer the usual coffee and drink selection with some…read moresavoury and sweet snacks, pastries and a few sandwiches to eat in (at an extra charge) or take out. Nothing special nor disastrous. I've had coffee to go once and a second time I had a cappucino sat at one of their tables at the station (to do some work on my laptop while waiting for a train). Their coffee is okay, nothing amazing, albeit a bit pricey for what you get. On the first occasion my cup felt half empty, on the second occasion the cup was fairly small and got cold very quickly!. I stopped here as I needed a table to use my laptop. Wouldn't miss it... The gentleman that served my coffee was very kind and attentive.

I really should have given this place a better rating on my last visit, it's a great coffee shop…read more The food and drinks are nice; as I said in my previous review, but the stars here are the staff. Today I was served by Nikki, who could give lessons in customer service! She was polite, bubbly, friendly and above all knowledgeable! She was able to recommend a few things for breakfast, and had the queue forming behind an indecisive me, in the palm of her hand. I was directed to some muesli as I wanted something healthier, (Although I also grabbed a ham and cheese flatbread, don't judge me) Nikki told me everything that was in the muesli and it was as good as her description! If I'm early for a train from Sheffield station, I'll always come back here.

This little cafe is a very popular one in the heart of Millhouses Park. Overlooking the boating…read morepond, this cafe serves up numerous treats, from a mean all day breakfast (ensure you go for the option with EVERYTHING) through to jacket potatos, burger and chips, and then the cakes.don't get me started on the cakes. They are to die for. No matter how much you have for your lunch, ALWAYS leave room for one of their cakes. They are the best. This is a friendly cafe, and reasonably priced, especially given the quantity and quality of the food you receive. I don't live in Sheffield myself, but when I come to visit family here, we always make a point of calling in here before the journey back up north. Be warned though, in the height of summer, this cafe gets exceedingly busy, and even with the external seating, you might be hard pressed to get a table for a good few hours.it is so good.

The best thing about the food here was the children's meals. A decent portion for your money…read more I had been really looking forward to this lunch and I was hungry. But the beans were a giveaway, served in a little ramekin. They tasted like they had been heated earlier and left to cool. For too long. The bacon was desperately overcooked and the Herby tomato was badly burnt. The egg and sausages were okay. A hot drink costs extra, as does toast, making it feel expensive. After that fairly poor show, we didn't fancy the cake, we just wanted to leave.
