Overall, it's not a bad convenience store if it weren't for some of the employees. It was mostly clean, the shelves were stocked (however definitely priced wrong) and no one had any sense of responsibility. I'd say it'd be easy to do name tags here - just put "Karen" on all of them. I looked around and decided what to purchase. took my receipt and discovered that something I'd purchased had the price wrong. I get back in line and explain only to be told by the clerk that she was too busy to look at the shelf with me because she had a line. What?! I just stood lin line twice. Really nice travel center with a Valero gas station there just off I-40! This venue took care of us (and my son's F150 truck with some gasoline) after driving down from Eureka Springs (Hwy 23) and it was a welcome stop before turning east on I-40 for Nashville. Easy in and out, and really an awesome selection of drinks (two ice-cold 1/2 & 1/2 iced teas for $2.00? nice!) ...and snacks that we enjoyed browsing before getting back in the truck and continuing our drive. There's even a small restaurant in the place (Boar's Head Cafe.) Just a nice clean place for the traveler and we're glad we made it a point to stop, refuel the truck, ourselves, and stretch our legs. Nice clean facility! Pretty much they will have what you need. Gas, muffins, cute tea towl, ipad cover, whatever. Their food is also very good. We enjoyed our breakfast here and apparently so does everyone else. The waitstaff was very talkative in taking care of my friend who was not feeling well. The food could have been brought out faster and the biscuts fresher, but hey, for a truck stop restaurant they are doing excellent. I think the restaurant was called Hillbilly something. Anyway, if you need food or whatever, stop here. read more

Come to the restaurant inside!!! The nicest staff and people i've ever met. I sat at this restaurant for hours waiting for a ride and the ladies at the diner got me food and kept making sure i was okay. They were so thoughtful, caring, and kind. The food was also AMAZING!! This is the best gas station/pit stop environment i've ever been in. read more

There is plenty of truck parking. The food is very very good. Prices are fair. Customer service was exceptional. The facility was extremely clean. Over all I would recommend this place and I will be making a point of stopping here every time I come through just for the food. read more
