I have been refilling my husband's compounded prescriptions at this pharmacy for almost a decade. I always get the medications shipped to our door, but last week I stopped by to pick it up, since shipping would not be fast enough. The doctor sent the refill authorization that morning, and two hours later the pharmacy had it all ready to go. The two ladies behind the counter were super professional and courteous. This pharmacy shares their main entrance with a clinic, but they have a few parking spots reserved that say "pharmacy customers only" right out front, which I appreciated during such a busy time of the day. First of all, I had to call 5 times without ever reaching a human being! It was to reply to a question they left on my messages regarding my first RX they received from my physician. I began to believe that this was not a legitimate medical health business since no one would answer the phone. What medical provider doesn't answer the phone when someone calls? What had it been an emergency regarding a drug or an adverse reaction to a prescription? I finally got someone to answer when a responded to their phone prompt by pressing whether I was a physician's office. That's how I got them to answer their phone. When I explained to the dude that answered the phone he could not have care less about my concerns that my calls were going unanswered and messages weren't being returned. ADVICE: Take your business somewhere else, to some business that actually cares about your needs and will reply to your calls. read more

I purchased compounded medication from this pharmacy. I called to get a copy of my receipt with medication listed and the car said he could not provide it. I've had this done for me at Empower and other pharmacies, so I know it isn't they couldn't they just would not. Super poor customer service. I wish I could rate it zero stars. read more

Horribly managed. They will NEVER,NEVER,EVER answer the phone. NEVER. You leave a message, you "might,maybe" get a return call. I've gotten ONE return call from 10 voice-mail over a span of 8 days. They will also demand you prepay. Finally drove an hour only for them to be patronizing and say it will take 2 weeks to fill. And they have 4 people answering phones. Horrible pharmacy! They never answer calls for refills (4 calls over 2 wells no response whatsoever). Their online reorder system never works. I have never seen a business more poorly run. If your physician sends your prescription you will suffer. Move it someplace else because you will literally wait for weeks. read more

So far I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm wondering what went wrong for so many others to leave bad reviews. They let me know ahead of time that they are running behind and how far ahead I should order my refills in order to not run out. A pharmacist took the time to go over everything about my new medication and answered the few questions I had (one of which she had to look up counter indications for and she took the time to do so instead of just guessing). I mean maybe something will reveal itself in the future (which I would update about), but from what I can see they're just a very busy pharmacy that gives you easy to follow instructions on how to not end up without your medication. Again if I follows those to a T and still end up without medication at some point I will update in fairness. read more

My wife and I have special prescriptions that must be compounded, hence our doctor began sending our prescriptions to this pharmacy. As others have stated, and as I have directly experienced other's frustrations, please save yourself the frustration and avoid this pharmacy at all costs if possible. Yes, the costs are higher due to the specialized service(s), which I am willing to accept, but expect a modicum of professionalism, communication and respect towards clients in return. The simple fact that every time I have had a prescription handled by this pharmacy and never had a good experience, multiple calls and/or messages with no return communication from neither the staff or pharmacist, delivery to incorrect locations, etc., in addition to everyone's comments here clearly shows your business model benefits no one. Lastly, your practices must be audited for HIPAA compliance and possible violations. So far very impressed with the quick communication and process! My Dr. faxed my prescription at the end of office hours Wednesday 3/20, I received a text/link that the pharmacy received my prescription and another text with a secure link to pay for it on Thursday 3/21 before noon. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost b/c I had an idea of what my medication would cost but i was thinking it would be well above the actual cost!! Friday 3/22 I received the link to pay for shipping with notice that once the shipping cost was paid my order would be prepared for shipment. Will update when I receive my medication* I do have to say after my dr told me where she would be sending my prescription I started researching b/c I had never used or heard of a compound pharmacy before. I became a little wary and concerned based on others reviews, but it seems to me like a lot (not all) but most of the negative reviews are misunderstandings. That could easily be solved by using their patient inbox. It is in the secure link they send when they first make contact with you. It takes two minutes or less to open a link, type a message, and check back later for a response. If it's an emergent question include that in your message. Most people spend an excessive amount of hours on their phones anyway (including the elderly) so it takes little to no effort, and as a plus you don't have to sit on hold or spend any time on a phone call taking you away from other responsibilities. If anything the convenience outweighs the negatives listed in other reviews regarding communication issues. I received responses almost immediately when asking questions via the patient inbox! If anything changes in the future I will update my review, but as of now I have had an easy process. On top of that, I fully understand what to expect from a compounding pharmacy thanks to my own research and my Dr. clearly outlining the timelines and process it takes to make each persons medication tailored to them being different than a commercial/big box store pharmacy. TERRIBLE! As many others have said, it is impossible to get a human being to answer the phone or return your call. Refills take forever likely because they are processing tons of weight loss medication prescriptions. I watch the techs counting out syringes and alcohol pads every time I'm there. Not a single person working here was wearing a mask. To some of you, that might be a plus. I would have at least expected a pharmacist to know better. We have freakin' tents set up to triage people outside the hospitals down the road and ERs are being closed to shift nursing staff to handle COVID overflow. Surge hasn't even peaked. I had the worst experience today at this pharmacy. My doctor called in a prescription for me 3 days prior. I got a text message the same day asking when l wanted to pick up the medication and opted for the next day. Unfortunately, l was not able to pick up that day so l went in today during my lunch time. The staff acted confused, they denied having sent the text for pickup even though it had their name and address. The last lady l spoke to was very defensive and rude. I asked when the medication would be ready and she stated that she would ask the pharmacist only to come back 10 minutes later and say they were still asking the pharmacist. This is my third try with this place and it only gets worse each time. I understand perfectly well that compounding takes time, but they will lie to you about when they "received" your prescription. My doctor sent it 3 weeks ago (I watched them fax it), but they claim to just have received it 20 days later. They only take orders by fax, so maybe someone there should check their fax machine more often? Now starts the 14 day The last time I used them I was charged $30 extra for "Express" delivery to the other side of Houston and received it 6 days later. When I called they told me they did not send anything out immediately and couldn't tell me when they would send it out, but certainly charged me in a split second. No apologies, no offering of remedies, just excuses. My meds were timed with Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy's "14 day turnaround time" in mind and now I'll go without them for two more weeks. I can't wait until my doctor finds a more responsible pharmacy. read more

According to them it can take up to FIVE days just to enter a prescription into the system. The lady on the phone was immediately rude right off the bat when she returned my call after 3 business days. First time using this pharmacy to get a prescription that would have costed me an arm and a leg at my local pharmacy. They answer the phone promptly and are extremely polite. I only had 1 experience where someone was not able to answer the phone but that was not an issue for me. I was still able to reach out to a pharmacist through the secure portal link that they provide or through the app. I am not sure why people are so quick to judge or give harsh reviews. Since I was able to get my script at a more affordable price, I can only imagine how busy this location gets because everyone else is trying to save a penny whenever they can. With that being said, it's logical and realistic that wait times can vary or be extremely busy. I will continue to use this as my pharmacy. Thank you to the lovely lady who answered all my questions! The most helpful staff. I use this pharmacy for myself, husband, our children, and even our pet (has a rare condition). I have our prescriptions filled and will always come here first when I need a supplement --- the two main brands they carry are top of the line. Also, I recently suffered a bad fall, and used their line for the resultant bruising; I was amazed at how much more quickly the bruising is healing. read more

Every single time I had a Rx filled I NEVER got a call to tell me it's ready. Anytime I went inside they acted so confused when I'd pick up my Rx after having to call to confirm myself weeks later that it was ready. Worst compounding pharmacy experience I've ever felt with. We have moved on to a better compounding pharmacy. Update*** no thank you I'd rather not go for 4th times a charm to see if I get a call about my Rx or if it's filled like it's supposed to be. Where to start. First of all they are extremely rude. When I called to see when my prescription would be ready, they simply said "hopefully tomorrow" and hung up. When I called the next day to see if it was ready they said it would be ready in 30 mins. 3 hours later when I came in, guess what? Wasn't ready. Again the staff was extremely rude.
