The Wonder Note has been a family affair for 2 years. It started with my oldest playing ukulele and now my husband and I have join the school. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Wonder Note. My daughter took piano/singing lessons and attended the songwriting camp. I was blown away by the fact she made a really great song in one week! The recitals are amazing. If needed, super talented teachers form bands to amplify the students' own talents and let them really shine. It is like a concert, not your average recital. It's one thing to be a good musician, but Hana is an exceptional teacher and human being as well! She blows my mind every time. Hana's many years of experience with children shines through in how she can easily adapt her teaching style to the individual student and their needs. She's intuitive and has tricks up her sleeve for the little ones. I've watched as she nurtured my 5 year old who could not read, into an 8 year old who loves to play the piano, ukelele, guitar, sing, and even write her own songs! Hana's talent and range is unmatched. She is extremely skilled in Piano, Ukelele, Guitar, and her Voice just gives me chills! (I bet there are other talents I don't know about). She can teach everything from classical, jazz, r&b and pop. She can go as strict, or as relaxed as you want. Most importantly, she is positive and inspiring, developing a true life-long love for music in our children. Another huge plus is that her experience as a professional musician has allowed her studio to double as a professional recording studio! Where else can you get professional recordings of your kids work as they develop and grow musically?! It's a very special memento for us parents. She truly does it all. We have been very impressed with The Wonder Note for the last 2 to 3 months since my daughter started taking lessons there. They've been very fair and flexible with their policies and the communication is excellent. Juan has been so patient and motivating for my daughter. He uses a lot of positive encouragement to help build her confidence. He's been flexible with his teaching strategies to incorporate songs she loves while still sticking with a structured curriculum so she's learning the basics and proper technique. My daughter Harlee has been taking voice and music lessons since she was 5 years old and have had many different teachers. But I have to say that Tommy at The Wonder Note has been one of the best so far. He has helped Harlee mature as a singer and helped improve her tone, ear, and overall sound to her voice. My daughter was taking piano classes for 2 years, she kept asking me that she wants to quit. Hana was my contact and she was just great, I have never met her but she is super communcicative, she cares, she listens your need and super professional.
