I didn't find anyone at the OB's office who cared as much about me as she did, so I came to Winter Garden OBGYN just in time to find out I was expecting my first kid. I can't say enough good things about both Dr. Texier and Dr. Elms. They both were very perceptive to me throughout my pregnancy and answered all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Texier delivered my baby girl, and I don't think it would have gone as smoothly but for Dr. Texier's very clear instructions. Thank you so much, Dr. Texier! Their staff are also just as caring. Special thanks to Lily, who was always a friendly face and walked me through the process whenever something was being done. Tammy, the office manager, also helped adjust my office visits to fit my schedule, as well as addressed a clinical issue I had during a blood draw. The office itself is gorgeous and physically appealing. It makes sense since the building itself is also brand new. The reception area has a little Keurig for coffee, as well as a mini fridge for water and juice boxes. I will continue to go to Winter Garden OBGYN. They've officially earned my trust.

From my initial point of contact to leaving the office gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Today was my first visit, and I struck gold. Also, I found a parking spot with ease. Style & Vibe: Very accessible, super cute, and extremely clean. The decor in the waiting room is "boho-chic" because of the color palette, minimal furniture pieces, the style of the furniture, and the greenery {plants.} The subtle fragrance is also a plus. Everyone I made contact with displayed genuine care and concern in addition to being friendly and efficient. Waiting: The waiting time in the lobby and inside the exam room is minimal. The best part is, you will not feel rushed Dr. Shereen I Oloufa. MD is a professional with personality and bedtime mannerisms. She made me feel welcomed and displayed a genuine concern as she was not hiding behind a tablet/iPad and rushing through her routine. When she entered the room, I felt a sense of peace thanks to her approach and technique. Time for the Table: Usually, I get tense and uncomfortable during my wellness checks, but today was a first where I felt calm and relaxed. Dr. Shereen I Oloufa did not have to tell me to relax. She kept the conversation lite and meaningful. My time on the table was pain-free and fast. The doctor explained things in simple terms, and she shared the steps I should take now that I am in the 40/40 club - I am referring to my age ;-). Sis, don't think twice, book the appointment!!

Since I did the new patient paperwork on their portal website, I was told I was all set. Everything went seamless from the beginning to the end. I also want to add that I followed my practitioner APRN, Natalie Bowles from one practice to this one. Her care is excellent and she's very thorough. By the way, while I was waiting to be seen, I noticed the Medical Director of the practice, Dr Marcantel, overseeing everything to make sure things were running as they should. That made me smile and I'm glad I am part of this practice now as a patient.

It was a nerve wrecking experience for my family and I for several months. I am disappointed on how I was treated during this time by this office. I continually needed to follow up for orders, for information and unless I scheduled a in person or telehealth appointment, I couldn't expect to get any questions or concerns addressed. Even after scheduling the appointment, the doctor was late and left feeling unsupported. So basically if I wasn't billable I wasn't important. I finally got my final results in which I had to message the office, twice, about discussing and they wanted me to wait 21 days until my next scheduled appointment to discuss. I found this ridiculous. When I complained, without much empathy or compassion I was just offered to schedule a sooner appointment. While they couldn't call me to discuss my test results and answer my questions or respond to my messages in the portal without me following up, they were able to call me to ask me to send my medical scans to their office because now they off 3D mammogram scans in office. Again, your only important if you're billable to them. This isn't a doctor's office I want. Patients and their families deserve more care and consideration than what I was given. I will be looking for another doctor and strongly recommend you do the same.

I don't write a bunch of reviews but I feel the need to let people know about the awful experience…read moreI had with this doctor and office staff. Dr. Michael Bartfield came highly recommended by my current gynecologist, who no longer practices obstetrics after I found out I was pregnant. The office seemed fine upon my initial visit, although pretty expensive through my insurance. The office staff seemed very relaxed and Dr. Bartfield although on paper seemed very experienced was very awkward in person. This was not enough to push me away from the office yet. I met with their finance department, they told me because I had not yet met my deductible. I had to pay in full for my delivery that was still six months away and then they would refund me the remaining amount, which did not include my ultrasounds or any blood work done in the office. This is our first kid and we wanted to make sure we got the best possible medical care because I am both type one diabetic and of advanced maternal age at 34 (35 when I deliver) so we went along with it. It wasn't until I was 16 weeks that I had the absolute worst appointment of my life. The ultrasound technician treated me like a test subject. After taking several pictures of my babies anatomy, she looked over at the student in the room, who I was allowed in the room without my permission and said "do you wanna try?". I do not find it appropriate for my body and baby's body to be used without my consent to train a student you have let observe without my consent. I explained to Dr.Bartfield my concerns at our final appointment and he said " if you need to find a different doctor, there won't be any hard feelings" ... yeah I hope not since I am the patient. Later that day I was told by a Dr.Bartfield that my baby could have a congenital heart defect, which I later learned he did not have and that 16 weeks was far too early to diagnose something like that. Dr. Bartfield and his staff put me through a great deal of stress and anxiety for no reason but it didn't end there. I ended up finding a different provider and when I received the bill for my final appointment, I called up to pay it and cancel any future appointments I had scheduled. When I did this, the receptionist took it very personal. She told me she would have to change the billing code for my final appointment to a regular exam. I did not received an exam. Her final words to me on the phone were "good luck". I would stay away from this office. They don't have your best interest in mind, they are motivated by money.

I initially had my first appointment here with Dr. Bartfield. I had just moved back to town after…read moreliving in south Florida for almost 8 years and was due for a annual visit. A few friends recommended Dr. Bartfield, so I made an appointment based on what they told me. I was having some issues with my bladder that were getting worse and I mentioned it during my appointment. Dr. Bartfield was the first doctor to notice that my uterus was enlarged, and he was the first one to investigate it. He had me come back the next week for an ultrasound, where they found a large fibroid that was pressing on my bladder. I was so scared when I saw it on the monitor, but Dr. Bartfield was really clear about my options and gave me the info I needed so that I could make an informed decision. After reading everything, I decided on a myomectomy and was then handed off to Dr. Lubbers for pre and post operative care as well as my surgery. Dr. Lubbers was the one that called me the next day to tell me that a hysterectomy may be a better option (I had already stated that I did not want children...and no one tried to change my mind about it!). She gave me no nonsense information about treatment but still treated me like a human. I felt really good about taking this journey with her after that first phone call. Before surgery, she was really thorough about what I needed to do to prepare myself and my home for the recovery process. She was also super thorough about what would happen during and after surgery. Surgery went really well, but the healing process has had its ups and downs. I had complications during the first few weeks after surgery (nothing to do with her work. Human bodies are just little unique snowflakes and we all heal differently, some have an easier time than others) and I ended up in the office almost every week. I was contacting Dr. Lubbers at the office *regularly*. She was consistently helpful, patient, supportive, and took quick action when I brought up any issues. I'm 5 weeks post op and am currently feeling pretty good (minus nerve pain that Dr. Lubbers was also quick to address. Nerve pain that no one else picked up on!). Her and the staff have been patient and have taken no nonsense when it comes to getting me whatever I needed after surgery and making sure that the complications that I experienced after surgery were handled (Lisa, Tiffany, and Marianne in the office are also real MVPs!). At this point I've interacted with all three doctors at the practice. Dr. Bartfield was the first doctor to actually validate my concerns and say, "you don't have to live like this." Dr. Mervis was on call when I reached out about having a head cold after surgery and sent me the nicest email to tell me what I could take to keep my symptoms at bay. I know the fellas get a lot of the shine here, but Dr. Lubbers is an absolute force to be reckoned with as well...she has such a bright career ahead of her, and she's an incredible doctor. I'm still on the mend, but I can say with confidence that Dr. Lubbers and this team have given me my life back. To say I'm thankful or appreciative of the whole crew at Prime would be a gross understatement. 11/10, would recommend!

Updating my review after once again having an egregious and unprofessional experience with the…read morestaff at this office. In my initial review I gave them the benefit of the doubt becuase the doctor herself was truly excellent. But her staff is so unprofessional that I won't be returning as a patient. They truly ruin what otherwise may have been a good experience. In the month since becoming a patient at this practice I have needed to once them exactly 4 times. Once to make an appointment. This took 7 calls & voicemails & my doing an online appointment request (which they subsequently lost). Not once did I recieve a call back. The second time was when I was running late to my appointment after a truck blocked a one way road. Called twice. No answer. The third was when I needed to change my BC. That took four phone calls and I was told I had to call them to remind them to do it (I'm sorry I have to remind you to do a basic function of your job? In 2026?). This brings us to this most recent attempt to contact them - when I called back 3 weeks later to remind them about my medication change. I called 8 times. Left voicemails. Not a single call back. On the morning I was set to start my new round of medication it still had not been called in. So I tried emailing them at the only email address I have for them-the front desk. So I get in my car to drive to their office & ask them to person and they finally call(thanks email). And they had the audacity to try to ignore the whole situation. No apologies. No accountability. When I got what I feel was understandably angry (at this point I have l called them close to 20 times and which feel like I am having to harass them to do basic functions of their job) so I asked to speak to her manager. She puts me on hold and then comes back to say she's not available and hangs up on me. The kicker, she did not confirm my pharmacy so I had to still go in person to get my medication sent in. Now I'm furious, but I know I can't be furious in person. It will not help me or anyone else there in their waiting room. So when I arrive, I very calmly, quietly, (so as to not upset the pregnant women in the waiting room because this isn't their fault or problem) ask to speak to the office manager. I also give them the pharmacy so that it can be called in. I wait around for 20th min only to be told she is in a meeting and then is going to lunch. She could not daine to give me 5 min of her time. They then add insult to injury and say "she will call you" why if you can't be bothered to call me about making an appointment, or my calling in my medication would I believe that someone would call for me to air a complaint? Truly? To my actual shock, they did call. The office manager whose name is Paige, called at the end of the day (she waited until the end of business). I went through the reasons for my outrage. I preface my start by asking her to not interrupt me until I had gotten through it all & I asked for her to put herself in my shoes. If she did, I asked how she would feel had she been treated with such disregard as her staff has now routinely shown me. She made no attempt to empathize or take any accountability. The "apology" she offered was "I'm sorry you feel that way" which basic psychologically & customer service 101 tells us is not an apology but a deflection tactic. (That's not my opinion that is fact-you can literally google this & I did. See my screenshot) When I pointed this out she just repeated herself. She also tried to suggest what I was somehow calling from a different number and that's why they weren't calling me back...? What? Like what a truly bizarre attempt to cover your mess up (& before you ask no-I have one phone) Zero accountability. Zero integrity. She made an already unprofessional & egregious situation so much worse. I wasn't even after an apology. I wanted to know why they can't be bothered to call people back or call in medication & how they wood be fixing that issue for their patients going forward because this is not reasonable. But nope... The worst part is I will have to do this song and dance AGAIN in 3 weeks when I have to change my medication again per my insurance. I am considering contacting the state medical board about it. While it is a staffing issue rather than a medical issue they should be aware of the egregious situations allowed to go on at this office. Just imagine if I was a hormonal pregnant woman or someone actually dealing with a distress in my pregnancy and I couldn't get my doctors staff to call me back without harassing them with repeated calls & voicemails or I physically show up in their office, they then try to gaslight me into thinking I am the problem. Completely unacceptable & unprofessional. Stay away. STAY SO SO FAR AWAY. I have never experienced such poor customer service and disrespect from a medical staff across the board in my life. I am completely outraged and shocked.

I am pregnant with twins and was seen at 22 weeks, which is late but I had been struggling with getting a PCP referral my insurance company required. At the end of the appointment they said they wanted to see me two weeks later, which we scheduled, but I later had to cancel because I was going out of town earlier than I had anticipated. When I came back in town 3 weeks later I called to reschedule, but there was no answer so I left a voicemail. A day later they called me back saying they were booked all next week, but since I am pregnant with twins it's urgent that I be seen as soon as possible. So they were going to place me on a list to schedule if there were any cancellations and that they would call me by that Friday. I was trying to tell them that my husband wouldn't be able to get off work next week so just schedule me for the next available appointment but some lady in the background butted in and explained why it's urgent I be seen soon and just repeated exactly what the other women said. I just said fine, wishing they would at least put me on the schedule in case no appointments became available, and expected when they called me Friday I'd turn down any appointment time if my husband couldn't come anyways. Friday comes and there's been no call. I then call everyday the next week leaving a voicemail every time, and called the following week after. My husband then calls the third week leaving a voicemail. No answering the phone, no returning voicemails. My midwife then calls herself, same thing. Absolutely bizarre. According to their own recommendations I should be seen every 2 weeks. I basically should have had 2 appointments since the time I first called them almost a month ago to get on the schedule. That sounds so crazy to say, I have been waiting for a returned call for about A MONTH! I am now 32 weeks, and two weeks ago was having extreme contractions. My midwife was worried about my cervix thinning, which is something she wanted the specialist to look at. My midwife says we can't wait any longer for them to call back, which is so unbelievably frustrating because it also took me weeks to get my PCP to get me the referrals needed by my insurance to be seen by this office to begin with. My husband and I are very conservative with the amount of ultrasounds we are comfortable with as well as with wanting to allow the babies to go past 37 weeks if I hadn't gone into natural labor yet and everything still looked good, despite the fact that these go against ACOG guidelines for twins which are also the doctors official recommendations. It's such a shame because she actually was very understanding of our wishes and wasn't pushing or shaming us for our wants. For her own sake I hope she can find better office workers who don't run her practice into the ground. I'm extremely frustrated that I'm towards the end of my pregnancy and I'm basically losing a necessary provider because I don't have time to switch, which feels a lot like patient abandonment. I have spent so much time in tears, on the phone, chasing down doctors at their own practices just to get the necessary referrals and approval from the insurance company to finally be able to come to this place, and I was only able to come one time. I got on a super expensive insurance plan when I found out I was pregnant with high risk twins because of all of the additional appointments, and I've barely used it. Absolutely ridiculous.
