Hard to believe that I have now been going to the wise owl for the best part of 20 years. It was always the first place we would go when looking for School supplies in August as we awaited the dread of going back to school in September. The wise owl almost has this Harry Potter feel about it- hard to find, claustrophobic, books to the ceilings and a mix of old/ new. Although only small this shop always seems to have what you are looking for and if not the staff will happily point you in the right direction. read more

Wise Owl.ie and the Wise Owl bookshops have, since they were established over 20 years ago, specialised in the supply of schoolbooks, revision guides and exam papers for primary and secondary schools in Ireland. Schoolbooks have always been a passion of the Wise Owl and we hold in stock schoolbooks, revision guides and exam papers at the Wise Owl Web unit and in each of the Wise Owl branches on a year round basis. In our branches we also buy and sell second-hand school books. We offer a schoolbook covering service online and instore.

The Wise Owl was established in 1984 and is an Independent retailer specialising in Schoolbooks and school supplies as well as a range of general fiction and gift items. In 2007 www.wiseowl.ie was established as part of the Wise Owl group to sell schoolbooks online. We stock schoolbooks for primary and secondary level schools in Ireland on a year round basis and offer an order and collect service from our online schoolbook shop.

Was in the Drogheda store recently with my daughter who wanted to trade in some older bits so she…read morecould put money/credit towards an iPad. The staff in there couldn't have been nicer!! They gave her so much time, explained the process, advised her re: iPad. Seamless process. Have recommended them to so many people since. If you have old consoles, DSs etc lying around and not being used, this is where I would recommend!
