Wings were pretty dry. Got the old bay and buffalo ranch. Service was relatively slow. Over 30 minutes to get wings.

First time at Wingstop. (4/15/24) We placed a large order…read moreand was told it'd take 30 minutes by the young man at the counter. They had a lot of pick ups. We went to sit down and there was trash on a table and 2 young ladies who obviously worked there sitting at a back table talking. They were joined by who I suppose was the cook, an older lady. They were all talking about some other employee. (Definitely something we didn't care to hear about, we moved a few tables away). We had to wipe the table down, in doing so we realized there wasn't a trash can in the lobby. Making the ambiance rather like eating outdoors. After receiving our order we could hear the cook who joined the ladies again (leaving the front counter person to work alone most of his shift) complaining about our large order. We ordered 40 wings, corn and french fries. We asked for 2 different sauces and it seems that was a lot to ask of her. We spent $77 and those inside thoughts were meant for BOH talk not lobby talk. Event though the food actually was good, the over all experience wasn't great. The bathroom was also dirty. Everything wrong could've been addressed by the ones sitting the entire time. Instead they repeatedly went to the kitchen and returned with food and we spent well over an hour eating after the 30 min wait. They definitely enjoy taking selfies. Another employee walked in and went to BOH and wasn't seen again, seems she enjoys working. We neatly packed our trash into the bag they gave us our food in, even though we told them we were eating in. I placed it on the counter near the tea urns and the cook appeared yelling whose trash it was?!? I explained there's no trash can and I didn't want to leave our trash on the tables, like we saw upon arrival and that I also cleaned up. Talk about an experience. 2 stars because the young man was nice and the food was great.

WINGSTOP Ronald…read moreAllan Charles Feedback has two definitions. One describes a screeching or humming sound, the return of a fraction of the output signal from an amplifier or microphone to the input of the same device. The other is information about reactions to a product or performance which might be used as a basis for improvement. Sometimes feedback needs to screech or hum loudly or often enough so that someone does something about it. And the first part of the word - feed -- really lends itself to dining experiences. Often when service is well performed, I will compliment the person performing the action and sometimes even ask to speak to their supervisor to praise their performance. That has led to some pay raises! Equally important, when things don't go well, management needs to know. We can feed back information to restaurant managers or owners who feed us regarding our experience. Not long ago I tried chicken wings from a Wingstop Restaurant. I shared comments about that with their corporate management and several times on their Internet Facebook pages. Doing so alerts prospective customers about what they might expect. Wingstop can consider improving things or going out of business. I recommend the latter. After you read this story, you may agree. If you think your experience was awful, read about my own. I can't believe this place is a restaurant! And I can't even award it a single star. Why is that? Read on. This was my first visit to Wingstop. Someone had recommended it. I'd made my carryout order by phone. At the restaurant I paid for 50 wings plus a small order of mango habanero wings. When I got home, I discovered that the small order was missing. What kind of business does not practice quality control to be sure the customer gets what they ordered? This one! NO napkins! What kind of place that serves sauce-drenched food to be eaten with fingers does not include napkins? This one! I had to fetch my own ketchup to accompany fries but didn't notice any napkins, having assumed they'd be in the bag. I didn't think about napkins then but certainly did when I began nibbling a few wings on my way home. When I inquired about five free wings as part of a promotional, the counter lady said I'd have to ask the kitchen. That's known as passing the buck, referring questions to someone else. I did finally catch the eye of a kitchen worker after several had looked away to avoid me, and was informed that they'd stopped offering those free wings at 5 p.m. However, others were getting them, though it was around 8 p.m. when this occurred. I had to scurry home and didn't have time to find someone to assist with this. Everyone at the order counter and all kitchen workers seemed too busy for customer concerns. Service was not friendly at all. Nobody smiled or thanked me for my business, my $60 order. Wingstop's smoked wings were a true disappointment. Though drowning in BBQ sauce that compared to sauces from a supermarket bottle, they didn't taste smoky. The ranch dressing was soupy and the blue cheese not much better. Better dressing comes out of a supermarket bottle. The celery was nice. The fries were average. I never again will visit this eatery, and I heartily recommend that if you haven't been to Wingstop, you choose another place to dine. There was nothing whatsoever remarkable about their wings. For hours I tried phoning the establishment upon my return to mention lack of napkins and my missing order, but their phone was perpetually busy, so I gave up. However, I will not give up sharing my remarks about this establishment. I will take every opportunity during my frequent seminars about places to dine to warn away potential customers. I am a positive person ever seeking good things to say about people and places that cook well and deserve praise. I enjoy cooking and good food. I am not a food snob. I regret that there is no good word I can offer regarding food or service at Wingstop. I hope, for the sake of Atlantans and others, not to mention chickens, that this place closes shop soon. They honestly don't deserve repeat business or even to be in business at all. Please disregard the one-star rating that I was forced to check at the beginning of my Facebook feedback comments. I couldn't post this positive review without clicking on a star. Wingstop doesn't deserve any star at all. I apologize for the star.

A few chairs for a couple folks, to wait for food or eat in, a sofa machine, and that's it. Menu is basic fried seafood and wings and fries. Nothing fancy here. Prices are OK, out the door my 2 piece catfish, 5 wing combo with fries, hush puppies, slaw and a drink was $19 before tip. Food was promised in 10 minutes that's about what it took. Takeout and delivery via Uber Eats and DoorDash are options. Hush puppies were nice and onion-y. Catfish was light and fluffy and not overly breaded and the fish flavor actually came through which I appreciate! Fried were basic crinkle cut fries, nothing special there. Fountain drinks are Pepsi products which is fine. Wings were nice and crispy, not super big but not tiny, and the buffalo sauce was good. The dining in experience could use a couple of improvements, specifically napkin holders and ketchup on the table, but I am not too mad about it given that they just opened, it's really a takeout place, and that's an easy thing to remedy. Overall a good local option that filled me up fast with good fried food which I am usually not a big fan of. J.Ja

Not overly mayo-ed or tons of vinegar. Everything was really good!
