I have family who lives here and I am writing a complaint anonymously for them because there is a history of *retaliation* from the staff I am complaining about. I came to visit a few weeks back since my family member was recovering from surgery so I stayed nearly a month and was saddened at the demise of this place over the years. Last time I was here was in 2018 or so. Trash everywhere, junk piles all over the place, the pool is a frog pond, fake grass where there used to be beautiful plants, but the #1 problem- there is a staff that is a drug addict and deeply insecure/angry/sad person who has tantrums towards residents. The staffs name is mike or mick or mark, I cant remember, his behavior that is dangerous, defines harrassment, and is a nuisance to the entire community. He harrasses disabled, senior women who live at the park. This was witnessed by the neighbor who divulged all the information, and shared that the entire knows that Mark is an aggressive person, especially towards women. He operates vehicles on walkways, including a childs motorbike, even if residents are around and trying to walk. He parks his 4-5 cars wherever he wants, often blocking shared areas. His dog gets loose and he does nothing about it, even when its aggressively approaching other residents. He leaves messes everywhere *including* drug baggies and *SO MANY* cigarettes. He blasts music and hits his cars gas so that its really loud entering and exiting the park. He never finishes a project - just leaves messes. He has been directly rude to my family member, yelling and being intimidating. This was months ago but my family member is still being passive aggressively harassed. I know my rights, and the law, which is why I watched him so closely when I visited. After witnessing a tiny bit of his behavior, I knew direct communication with him would be fruitless. This staff is dark haired, probably about 50 years old and looks like a drug addict - sunken cheeks and looks miserable to the bone. He makes all kinds of obtrusive noise including motorized toys, all over the park and from what I can tell - uses his ATV and his toys to harrass residents. He wont work all day, and then sunset will come and he will start using loud machines. He's what my ladyfriends and I call a "manbaby" - a man that never grew up. Ive heard the way he treats his girlfriend, and I feel so bad for her. I hope she leaves him, she can do much better. He acts like a child having a tantrum but he is clearly a drug addict or maybe alcholic and very uneducated, very insecure (his cars cant mask how insecure he is, nor the slamming of the gas pedal). Also, the laundry was closed for my entire stay and what I heard was that it was contaminated with sewage. So I have to wonder, is the water contaminated with sewage too? Wow. This place has gone so downhill - and should be investigated. I plan to contact the county, and the sheriff should any kind of retaliation/retribution happen to my family member. My husband is a criminal attorney, so we are familiar with this kind of situation and that's why we are concerned about our family member - people like this who feel entitled but have serious behavioral issues need to be fired and moved out. We are purchasing a house in the east bay and will eventually get our family out of this place that is doomed, and won't hold back on any kind of legal action if we need to.
