I read online they had a great selection of new and used vinyl. They did not. Second, I'm not sure how they price their vinyl. There were numerous albums priced 70-100% higher than online or other local stores. I am all about supporting local business but the prices for newer stuff was actually crazy! My advice to future visitors is make sure you know what you are looking to buy there because you can likely find it less expensive elsewhere.

They offer a wide selection of genres from vintage golden oldies, jazz, motown, funk, indie, and there's even a special recording studio located in the back which is so cool! Did you know? David Bowie is the best-selling vinyl artist of the 21st Century. His vinyl sales for the 2000s placed him ahead of The Beatles! Going through vinyl records is definitely therapeutic and soothing. I found some really great artists including Kenny Rogers, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli, and Lionel Richie. Surprisingly, the condition and quality of the vinyl record looks pretty good!

His assistant texted right away and scheduled a call for the next day with Lio. I knew it would be a perfect fit within a few minutes. Lio is experienced, well-connected, and radiates a love for his craft. He was up-front about learning the profession, technology, skills, and the practice it takes to get better. There was no sales pitch whatsoever, just an honest and transparent explanation of how he teaches, what the student can expect, and how parents can support the process. My teen had his first lesson in Lio's home studio last week. Cloud nine does not begin to describe the experience for him! His self-taught skills were validated, he learned so much in just two hours, and came home to "remix" his original creations. He has a second session scheduled with Lio next month and cannot wait. I highly recommend Lio for his professionalism, expertise, kindness, and efforts in teaching the next generation of producers. We are Lio fans for life!

He then told me I was "welcome" for him doing my session. Me a paying customer who has been recording there since 2022 that flew all the way there on my dollar is welcome. ME THE CUSTOMER.
