102.3 FM and 1280 AM…read more  I am a fan of the oldies. This is rock and roll music that is timeless and ages just as good as fine wine. In a way oldies is the timeless feel good music that is fine wine for the ears.   Kool FM is the oldies station of the Las Vegas valley. It broadcasts from 102.3 on the FM dial and 1280 on the AM dial. This is one of the radio stations that I listen to in the car and at at home. Just like fine wine the oldies have a way to bring me up when I am stressed out or down. Unlike fine wine, I can be under the positive influence of the fine wine for the ears when I am driving.   My listenership of Kool FM goes back years ago when the Orleans shuttle played it on the radio on the way back from the Strip on a staycation. This was in the early 2010s. Since then, Kool FM is a cool oldies station that I have listened to. They seem to focus on the oldies of the 1960s with a secondary focus on the 1970s with some thrown in from the late 1950s to the rare oldies of the late 1980s. I admit that it did make me feel old when they played the Beach Boys "Kokomo" from 1988. The programmers have a great taste in oldies that includes everything from the Beatles to Motown and includes the Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Turtles, Righteous Brothers, Neil Diamond, Sony & Cher, and several other artists. They play the best from these artists including "Eleanor," "I Heard it Through the Grapevine," "Good Vibrations," "Kentucky Rain," Sweet Caroline," and the list of songs pour on and on like fine wine. Kool 102.3 broadcasts the oldies through a strong signal with limited commercials.    Kool 102.3 is like Cool fine wine that gets better with age. When I listen to Kool 102.3 FM, it usually leaves me with a cool oldies tune playing in my head. I would much rather have a cool tune like "Joy to the World" or "Traveling Band" playing in my head than the sound of a negative thought. I am a fan of cool oldies. Ultimately this makes me a fan on Kool FM which is 102.3 on the Las Vegas FM dial and 1280 on the AM dial.

Here is the exact that if you refer a nurse they will pay you 1,000 dollars for just the referral. I referred my wife who is a labor and delivery nurse and when I sent a message to Harold Sterling he did a bait and switch on me and said that's only if they get hired . However that's not what the radio jock said on the advertisement. So they all committed fraud ! I also have the radio announcement recording.

I was driving through Las Vegas and was looking for a radio station with today top hits this…read moreprovided what I was looking for, the only negative part was after listening to it for over an hour and a half they started playing the same songs over and over. Kind of annoying. How many times can you play Adele's new song hello. On a positive note it did get me dancing in the car so two thumbs up!! Its a break from the large influx of country and odd stations in NV. All in all its a great station for top hits and new songs to dance to especially if you were taking a road trip as I was. Turn up 93.1!!

Im experiencing no wins anymore even though I'm constantly on the site to get my entries in and listening for code words but now there's no tickets wins anymore and Im getting a lot of spam when I enter certain contests. Im really starting to think differently about radio and will be only listening to music apps from now on. I don't like it when radio becomes more advertising than radio, you kill the art this way. 97.1 killed radio by being super greedy with advertising and being a holes. Radio is dying and Im not happy being a fan of 93.1 anymore. Thank you for the tickets I did win in the past. Man!! I miss the good old days of when radio was great!!! This fan is out. I can't even send an e mail on the site to contact someone. Very disappointing to your fans.

There are too many composer and artist ,musicians who are not known in modern times to list them all. besides the famous Dvorak. Seventh, eighth, ninth, and Tchaikovsky's, sixth and seventh symphony, Schubert's symphony No. 9, Mendelssohn's, these famous tunes, as well as many, many, many and many new composers, whose names I can't remember, they can't call out, and your radio station gives them a chance for music lovers and listeners to recognize their wonderful symphonies, especially their wonderful symphonies. I can't list the composer's name and color, the unit and the artist's name! again, Thank you very much for these wonderful music every day with you, shocking and exhilarating music, let me forget all troubles, painful fatigue, fantasy good, let me be full of hope for life! Let me hate the hypocrisy and falsehood of mankind, the injustice of society, and the war now under way. This is ridiculous and stupid! Zhang Sherman Sacramento, California And Las Vegas, Nevada

The left sang "all we hear is radio ga ga", refering to commercial crap. Well let me tell you that…read morethe fact that Nevada Public Radio is not commercial, does not make it less crappy. You do not truly become an intellectual just because you interview obscure writers or make announcements with a soft voice. A true intellectual is a rational and skeptic thinker. You are the opposite, you just copy the ready-made narratives supplied to you from the leaders of the politically correct Marxist movement you have joined. Listeners can rest assured that whenever words such as climate change is mentioned, the message is ALWAYS the same. Never any attempts of covering both sides of the story, never any critical question such as how much, why, what exactly is the risk, how could it be avoided and how much, is there really a scientific consensus about that and what exactly is the consensus for. I know why though. If Nevada Public Radio was critical the listeners would see through some of the narratives. That is the difference between enabling a constructive debate, and supplying propaganda.
