Jane was awesome to work with for our floral preservation! My wife wanted to preserve her bouquet and we were fortunate to hear about wild orchid. She was able to arrange to meet up with me with little notice to pick up the bouquet. She really preserved the look and feel of the bouquet through her processes of color correction. Throughout the process, she remained flexible, offering different variations of the arrangement as well as the flexibility to pick the frame later on. The process takes quite a few months for the flowers to dry out, so it was hard for us to be totally set on a design with our initial consultation. So we really appreciated the flexibility of discussion options later. She offered different mock ups of frames, etc, which was also really awesome to see with our bouquet. Overall, I think this is a super unique way to preserve Flower and would recommend it to anyone looking to do the same! read more

The Wild Orchid - Preserved bouque - Florists Near Me

My husband and I woke up the morning after our wedding still on cloud nine, suddenly realizing how much we wanted to preserve our gorgeous florals. In a bit of a panic, we found The Wild Orchid while frantically Googling at the crack of dawn and we're so grateful we did. Jane responded almost immediately, even on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and within just a couple of hours we had arranged to courier our flowers to her. Her responsiveness, kindness, and professionalism during such a hectic moment meant so much to us. The final pressed arrangement was finished right on time and absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is stunning--such a beautiful, tangible way to hold onto such a special day. We couldn't be happier with the result, and we wouldn't hesitate for a second to work with Jane again for any future special events. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Jane beautifully preserved my wedding bouquet into a piece of art that will last my lifetime. From the first moment I chatted with Jane she was so easy going and helped guide me through the process from picking up the bouquet after my wedding, to deciding on a layout, to frame options and even to then shipping it across states! I could not be happier! I love that she also posts about the process on Facebook so I got to see my flowers be taken apart and learn about the color correcting process. I do feel everything was well worth the cost and I would do it again! read more

Jane was absolutely incredible to work with! We found The Wild Orchid the day after our destination wedding to preserve our wedding bouquet and boutonnière. She kept us updated every step of the way and shared photos throughout, which was so exciting to watch everything come together! Jane is exceptionally talented. Initially, I did not plan to preserve my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere but I decided to do so the day after my wedding, while en route to my honeymoon. I needed to find a reliable preservation service quickly to ensure the flowers remained as fresh as possible for optimal results. I reached out to Jane via email, and I received a response within minutes. Throughout the process, Jane provided regular updates and had excellent communication. Her work is truly stunning and of high quality. I highly recommend The Wild Orchid for those seeking beautiful flower preservation. read more

Booking with Jane was the best thing we did for our wedding. We booked her around a year before our wedding date and since then she was incredibly kind and responsive to our needs, wants, and vision. Jane was transparent with her pricing, created the most beautiful and thorough vision board prior to officially booking, and remained open to subtle changes/additions to our contract up until a week prior to the big day. On our wedding day, we were in awe of how her artwork transformed our venue (a family member's ranch) and the attention to detail she had by having watched her for a short time setting up our altar. Jane is a complete professional and more. read more

I had just three months to plan my wedding and with a very small budget too. I am so happy that I was able to find Jane/The Wild Orchid to do the floral arrangements. We communicated solely through email as that was the easiest way for me to get stuff done. I first emailed her the date of my wedding (to check availability, especially since it was Thanksgiving weekend) and a list of what I was looking for. I asked her to provide an idea of what the costs may be and she got back to me immediately. The cost was right within my budget. She also provided additional information and suggestions on the flowers and what might work best for my wedding day. I ordered a bouquet, tossing bouquet (that doubled as my maid-of-honor's bouquet), corsages and boutonnieres. I gave her free range over what types of flowers to use, given my budget and wedding colors and was extremely happy with the results. Since my wedding was to be held in the same town as The Wild Orchid, Jane offered to deliver the flowers at no additional cost. She arrived on time with the most beautiful flower arrangements. I highly recommended hiring Jane/The Wild Orchid for all special events needs as she was highly professional, easy to work with, provided excellent service, and is the best value for floral needs. read more

Amazing experience from start to finish! I had several phone interviews with various florists before deciding on going with Jane, the Wild Orchid. I felt like she really listened to our vision, while keeping in mind our budget! Jane made wonderful suggestions for adding greenery and garden roses to fill in centerpieces while highlighting peonies, dahlias and other rose varieties for my (bride) bouquet, bridesmaids bouquet, mother's corsages and groomsman's boutonnières, etc. Due to the fires happening in Napa at the time of our wedding, we didn't know if we would be having it as scheduled. During this tense time, Jane stayed in contact with my husband and I and gracefully accommodated some last minute changes to tables schemes, etc. She was so on it!! The day of she showed up and wowed us! Words could not describe how amazed and thankful we were. If you've ever planned a wedding, then you can sympathize with dealing with event planners, vendors, etc. so anytime you have someone who is communicative and adaptable, you can't help but be over the moon! We must've given a dozen hugs to the Wild Orchid for exceptional outcome. She told us over the first call that she wanted the florals to be the easiest part, and she lived up to it! I highly recommend the service and quality! read more

Jane made our dream wedding day come true-the flowers were absolutely incredible. We initially had planned our wedding for May 2020 and it was postponed due to covid. She continued to work with us (at no additional cost), she was reliable, responsive, artistic, creative, and listened to all our ideas. She understood our vision and stayed within our budget. She put as at ease. When she walked into my cottage where I (the bride) was getting dressed and showed me the bouquets, I was in absolute awe. She has a calming presence and you can tell how passionate she is about her work. She loves what she does! She remained in contact with us days leading up to the wedding with any changes or tweaks that needed to occur (example number of tables changing due to guest numbers changing). She made our dream a reality. We highly recommend her without hesitation. read more

Jane is awesome! She is so mellow & low key, a wonderful gentle presence on a stressful day. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful. She made so much out of a small budget and I will always be grateful to her for the loveliness she brought to our day. She even helped my friends doing setup. And her emails leading up to the day were always so kind and encouraging. A kind person, a fabulous florist, a magician with the budget. Thank you Jane! Love Karen & Michael read more

When I think back to our wedding, the main and first thing that comes to mind are the incredible flower arrangements that Jane put together! I was feeling very nervous while everything was getting setup the day of our wedding, but once Jane came and brought me my bouquet...I just knew everything was going to be perfect! All of the flowers were exactly what I had dreamed about and my guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous they were. I really feel like it MADE the wedding. I love flowers but know nothing about the names of flowers or what flowers are in season. When we met with Jane to discuss our ideas, I was very vague because I did not know exactly what I wanted- but I knew the feel of what I wanted- rustic, freshly cut flowers arranged like they had just been cut from the garden. She basically took my vision and pictures of what I knew I loved and worked her magic! She is super sweet, very personable and easy to talk to, and very down to earth. Her prices are also amazing. If I ever have a special event in the future, I'll be sure to have Jane do my flowers :) read more

There is no florist in the world who deserves 5 stars more than Jane Arnold the owner of The Wild Orchid. Jane did the flowers for our wedding in Sebastopol and I was so pleased with her services right from the beginning. Jane was so helpful in her emails, and over the phone, she communicated with me so well, that she truly made the flowers the least stressful part of my whole wedding planning. When Jane arrived with our flowers, I was so pleased. Each bouquet was so perfect and beautiful. She did such fine detailed work that lead to such a beautiful creation. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made flower arrangements that were even more beautiful then what I could have imagined. I wish I could hold onto those bouquets forever! read more

If you're looking for stunning flowers for your wedding in wine country, Jane is absolutely your girl! Jane was referred to us through our wedding coordinator, and from the start I knew she was exactly who I needed. I had a rough idea of what I wanted (colors, bouquet sizes, etc.) but was very upfront with Jane that I wanted her expertise in making my vision shine through the arrangements. The first thing she did was take a look at my Pinterest board, then we had a phone consultation where she asked me a lot of questions that I hadn't even asked myself (which was a great thing! She knew how to get me to articulate what I was going for). After that, she created a vision board that showed me examples of what she understood to be my ideal color scheme and some arrangements that I would love. I was absolutely shocked that she nailed it the first time. We decided to move forward with her. As the wedding approached, I decided I wanted to make a couple of adjustments to the floral order, and Jane totally accommodated it. Overall, I absolutely loved my bouquets, the centerpieces, even my flower-dog's collar, and I have Jane to thank for making everything come together! read more

Jane, the owner of The Wild Orchid, could not have been more friendly, fun, or easy to work with for our wedding flowers. She responded quickly to emails and was always happy to answer questions. Having little talent for decorating, Jane was more than willing to offer suggestions for our floral decor based on the style of our wedding as well as the type of flowers my husband and I particularly liked. Although it is a non-specific description, I kept describing our goal look as "natural", and Jane absolutely knocked it out of the park. She provides summaries of her plan for each aspect of the floral design, and those summaries are very representative of the actual product, which made it easy to picture our wedding without actually seeing it. If you're looking for a wedding florist, stop your search because Jane and The Wild Orchid is as good as it gets! read more

I am a wedding photographer and have had the pleasure of working with Jane several times. She is so talented, kind and professional. Most florists are still onsite when I arrive, putting together the last touches to the ceremony site, reception tables, etc. She has always been so helpful with anything I need as I'm photographing, and her work speaks for itself! As a vendor, I feel it's so important to have a dedicated team in place to make the whole event flow seamlessly, and I'm so honored to work with Jane any chance I get! read more

I'm not much of a review writer; I'm more of a review reader. Like most people, I suppose it's only the really, really awful or really, really stellar experiences that inspire me to write a review. I'm happy to report that Jane and the Wild Orchid fall in the "stellar" category. I decided to throw a fancy birthday party for myself for the first time in my life, and the floral design was very important to me. After interviewing several floral designers on the phone, Jane was the obvious pick for several reasons. First, from day one Jane returned my calls and emails promptly. Maybe for some folks this wouldn't be so critical, but for me it was a high priority. I am always very busy with work, and even though the party was very important to me, I didn't have time to chase down my vendors. Jane made communication easy. In fact, the only time we met face-to-face before my party, she drove out to my house (which is sorta remote) on a 95 degree Sunday, after she'd already done the flowers for two events earlier that day! Second, she listens. She didn't try to push what she thought or wanted on me, all she cared about was that I be pleased with the flowers. I vaguely described a sort of colorful summer picnic feel, and she came through with flying colors (pun intended, I guess). The arrangements were more beautiful than I could've imagined. I'd had the tiniest concern because from her website, it looks like a lot of her work is quite formal, and I wanted the opposite. She ended up bringing me exquisitely beautiful arrangements in Mason jars, which just about every guest complimented. It was perfect. Third, she does what she says she'll do. After we met, she put a description of what she was providing for me in a very detailed project statement to ensure we were on the same page. It was so reassuring to know that it was all there in writing, and she provided what she said she would (and more!). She arrived right on time for our first meeting, as well as on the day of the party. Fourth, she made it look easy. I wanted garlands for all my guests (and for my dog....yep, I'm like that). Other floral designers I'd spoken to had told me that making that many (20+) garlands would be so time-consuming and so expensive.....but Jane just said that'd be great, and that she'd made dog garlands before, and she made me beautiful garlands which were one of the hits of the party. My garland was the most beautiful, of course. Fifth, she has amazing people skills. I was exhausted and cranky on the day of the party (read my review of the caterer and you'll understand at least partially why), so when Jane arrived in her usual good spirits, I think I might've mumbled, "I can't deal with you right now." "No problem," said she, and went about her work. When I emerged from my cocoon of misery, there she was, done with placing the flowers, and that put me in a great mood because they were so beautiful. She was respectful and professional at all times, and is just an all-around sweetheart. Clearly I think very, very highly of this talented, lovely woman. If you're lucky enough to be able to book Jane for your event, you will be very glad you did! read more

I LOVE THE WILD ORCHID! Jane is such a talented florist! She made all my dreams come true for what I had invisioned my wedding to look like! She is so very versatile in the work that she does. I couldn't have imagined how my wedding would have turned out without her! read more

The Wild Orchid (Jane Arnold) is the best. I live in the East Bay, was getting married in Napa and Jane was in Sebastapol- we only met briefly on the day of the wedding, when she kindly dropped off our bouquets at our hotel in Napa (for our photos) before making her way to the ceremony then reception (St. Helena). She is willing to work with you regardless of the distance! So we never met prior to the wedding. With that being said... You MUST hire Jane. She's the best of both worlds- She works within your budget, but manages to produce floral pieces and arrangements that look like you spent a fortune. She's patient and flexible- and was able to give me the "Look and feel (+colors)" that I wanted, even though the flowers I initially wanted were out of season (again without having once met in person!). If there was one thing that went flawlessly at my wedding- it was the flowers! Thank you Jane for making our wedding day extra perfect ;) read more

Your hours say you are open 7am to 7pm on a Monday, yet when I called at 2:30 and again at 3:00 pm yesterday; your phone rolled to voice mail. Your voice mail says to leave a message with no further information when to expect a call back. I am 9 hours ahead in Switzerland. Why on earth would I leave a message, not knowing when you're planning to call back? A business needs a live person to man their phones during opening hours. You may want to rethink your business model. I spent $100 with your competitor over at Wisteria Florist, in Santa Rosa and I just wrote him a stellar review. read more

If you're considering Jane as your wedding florist, then look no further - she is amazing! We hired Jane as the florist for our wedding in Healdsburg this past summer, and she truly went above and beyond. We had so many guests comment on how beautiful the florals were - many even took them home at the end of the night. Most importantly, Jane was truly a pleasure to work with - she really listened to asks, understood what I was looking to do, and nailed what I was looking for, all while working within my desired budget. Jane truly seems to love what she does and she is amazing at it - I can't recommend her more highly! read more

We just had our wedding this past weekend and Jane created all of the floral arrangements both for the ceremony/reception as well as our Friday welcome event as well. I can't say enough great things about Jane - she is an absolute pleasure to work with - warm, thoughtful, thorough and responsive. From the first time we met her, Jane was excited by our concept and provided lots of other ideas to make it even better; additionally her proposal was amazingly detailed and made us feel comfortable we were getting exactly what we discussed. All of the arrangements were absolutely fabulous - we got tons of compliments all weekend. Don't hesitate in working with Jane - you will not be disappointed read more

Jane could not have been more perfect! She was responsive, creative, and open to suggestions and last minute tweaks. She patiently went through my Pinterest board photo after photo, and kept me in the loop with flowers that fit the venue and wedding vibe I was going for. Jane was absolutely amazing! From the minute we met and shoed her pictures of what we were thinking, she already had ideas of how to make my dreams a reality. We had an idea to incorporate lanterns on the table with flowers spilling out. She actually purchased the lanterns for us to use! She is so creative and created such stunning pieces for my wedding. Jane even made me a flower crown and dropped one off for my hair trial. She is personable and really makes the wedding process go smoothly which is a great stress reliever. I can't say enough good things about her. She helped make my wedding day so special and I am forever grateful! read more

We chose The Wild Orchid to provide our flowers for our wedding in Healdsburg back in June. We chose them because Jane was easy to work with and made the process of choosing floral arrangements very easy. However, the flowers we saw the day-of were disappointing. Some of the flowers looked old and wilted and were already starting to brown at the edges. My bouquet was nothing like what we had discussed: I had asked for a loose, organic arrangement and what I got was a tight, traditional bouquet. Nothing was terrible, we were just extremely disappointed given the amount of money we spent with them. I wouldn't recommend them. read more

Jane is honestly as good as it gets in so many different ways. As a person, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was attentive and detail oriented and although I know from her instagram that she is incredibly busy, she made me feel like I was the only and most important bride that she was working with. That's pretty amazing! As far as her work goes, she strikes the perfect balance between listening to what you have to say and paying attention to your style while offering her own ideas and creativity, which is one of the many reasons I wanted to work with her. She is very passionate about her work and truly loves flowers and she really comes up with amazing ideas to compliment the look and feel that you are going for. I would recommend Jane a thousand times over. As I told her, I really miss emailing and talking to her now that my wedding is over. Next event I host, I will absolutely work with Jane again and I recommend you do the same if you are reading this! read more

After talking to her for 5 minutes, I knew that I wanted Jane to be a part of my special day. She understood the look that I was going for and followed my vision completely. Her genuine passion for flowers is obvious and she made me feel that my wedding was as an important of a day for her as it was for me. My girls looked beautiful with their bouquets and my bridal arrangement was stunning. She transformed a very simple wooden arch into a work of art and the floral colors pop in my wedding photos. I received compliments on the flowers for the entire night. Jane was easy to work with, reasonably priced, prompt with responses and just an overall joy. My only regret? I didn't get to spend more time with her (she is the sweetest). She took my forested venue and complemented it rather than try to take away the venue's natural beauty (some florists go way over the top with flowers). The work that Jane does is nothing short of magical and I can't thank her enough. read more
