Serendipity Salon was happy to ask their stylists if anyone could accommodate a walk-in and lucky for me Billy happened to have a window of time that could fit me in. Billy was so nice to talk to with just the right amount of conversation, not too much and not silent. Serendipity Salon is clean and fresh. All the staff were smiling and greeted people with a warm "hello". I would highly recommend Serendipity Salon and especially the stylist, Billy. Oh, and my new haircut was just what I needed and I received many compliments. Thank you, Billy! I look forward to getting my haircut with you again.

I had to bring her somewhere else to fix it as the damage they caused was beyond what I could have trusted them to repair. We're now having to to visit another salon once a month as it's a slow and expensive reversal process. I wrote asking for a refund, they responded with questions on what my daughters name was and who did her hair- then completely ignore me when I answered. 110% do not recommend.

Going to Tasha's has always been a wonderfully pleasant experience for me. I'm not from the area,…read moreso when I needed to get my thick, curly hair back under control, I basically picked a salon at random. Well, okay, a straight-haired friend recommended Tasha's to me, but that didn't guarantee that someone who cut her straight hair well could handle my curly mop. I ended up seeing Coral (who also cut my friend's hair) and she absolutely nailed it. I wanted a drastically different, very short haircut, and she was super excited to try something new. I had brought in a photo for her to reference, which she used, but she also adjusted the style to suit my face better. The haircut is absolutely fantastic, and I've stuck with it for several months now (a big deal, given that I was uncertain about it when I cut it at first). I've never had a hairstyle that I can tame in 30 seconds in the morning. It's amazing and I love it. I've gone back to see Coral several times since then and she's always been reliable. She's also a total sweetheart. The salon itself is pretty, very spacious, and has all the professional equipment you would expect (my personal favorite being hair dryers hanging from the ceiling - I'm easily amused). They also sell a lot of hair and general beauty products there. They take appointments, but I've never had to wait more than a day or two, and they usually get me in the same day. They have a nice waiting area with comfy couches. It's just generally a really comfortable place to be - everyone is super friendly and will chat with you, and a couple of times there have been kids/younger siblings running around, which I thought made the place really friendly and relaxing. It's not a silent, super-fancy, stick-up-the-butt salon, and I wouldn't want it to be. I was also VERY pleased with the price. I've spent absurd amounts of money in search of a good haircut with a stylist who actually knows curly hair. At Tasha's, I've never paid more than $25, even when they increased their prices a few months ago. I may be paying a little bit less because my hair is so short and I've never needed a blow-dry (another benefit of having short hair! WHOO!) For the friendly service and great results, it's an absolute steal. I can't recommend it enough.

I waited two months to let my hair rest and recover before having it dyed again because my hair was really damaged. I went to a different local salon that gave me an what they called an olaplex alternative (ph bonder by redken) but it didn't protect my hair and made it much worse. Every time I showered or brushed my hair I'd have an entire fistful of hair break off. I'm not exaggerating. It was not cool. I'd heard about olaplex but was skeptical... still at this point I needed to try something to save my hair and was pretty desperate. I had the treatment at Salon Moda a few weeks ago along with a root touch up and notice a HUGE REDUCTION in breakage!!!!! I was shocked at how soft it felt - normally my hair is only that soft after a glaze. No glaze, just my own hairs natural integrity restored. I'll never have my hair lightened again without it. Brilliant product.
