I don't post reviews often, but this experience was so awful. I used to go there more bc I lived in the ninth square so it wAs convenient. My boyfriend and I stopped in today for the first time in awhile, and we will not be returning. We asked to try some of the juices and the guy basically ignored us, making strange excuses that he didn't have anything to sample. We were the only people there- but the guy did not want to deal with us. We had to request several times to test any juice before he let us. He said he didn't have flavors we would like, but didn't even tell us what he had. Once we actually Got the testers he was eager to take it away, standing over us while we tested a few flavors and quickly put the tray back behind the counter when we weren't finished. Bad customer service, and just a weird experience. read more

Don't waste your time going here if you have questions or need help. Their answer for everything are usually flippant remarks and you can tell they really don't want to help you. So tired of hearing "its against the law for us to help you" as if they are using that as an excuse to be douche bags. I'll continue to go to Steam Co even though their farther, at least their customer service is better. read more

Everytime I come here its super laid back but in a good way. The workers are very attentive and helpful love the overall vibe of the shop I always feel welcomed this one isn't exactly near the area I'm usually around but its always a place that's consistent that I know I can come to without any issues. Worth the trip and the guys here are very helpful with information on the vapes in the shop incase you don't have much knowledge. Overall experiences here are great highly recommended read more

Super trendy and fun place to stop! Whether you Vape or not, this is equally as much a lounge as it is a store. The staff which were pretty well versed in the various juices and mods they have available, were very friendly and helpful. I loved the feel of the place. It is definitely a hip spot to hangout! I came in when they first opened and it has really developed since that time. It has the look of a NYC vape shop but the easy going nature of a west coast vape front. I also went for their grand opening party and was very impressed with their infamous cloud competition. If you're looking for ecig products or looking for a place to hangout or just want somewhere cool with free wifi, this is the hippest spot to be. A true attribute to New Haven! read more

I was extremely let down by this vape shop. I decided to branch out of my area to see what this store had to offer for juices. First off there's absolutely no parking. As I entered I walked to the very limited selection of juices. One employee was very occupied by the computer and the other was the least bit helpful. I'm going to give a 5 star rating even tho I have only been to one other vape shop besides The White Buffalo. Because, I can see where this place is headed. Everyone in the store was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and pleasant to deal with. The selection of accessories is a perfect spread. It's not a huge, overwhelming selection, however, it is a perfect spread of interesting and intriguing set ups and add-ons. In other words, you will find what you need here. And, maybe my favorite part, was everyone wanted to sell my friend and I what we needed biased on our experience with vaping. I was introduced to where I could go with this hobby but was recommended set-ups that made sense considering my experience. Lastly, I will mention the "juice". Whoa! This selection is overwhelming just as you'd expect it to be. The guys at The White Buffalo put together a huge selection of brews. Literally a flavor for all taste. I described what I wanted to taste and my boy pulled out three or four brews that all nailed my description to the tee! Great job- my new vape shop. read more

This shop is awesome. Very large selection, mostly gear for the experienced vaper. Mechs, regulated mods, rda's, tanks etc...they got it all. The space the shop is in is very cool, sort of an old factory kind of look. They have locked glass display cases with all there mods set up on the walls which looks very clean and classy. The only negative for me is the e-liquid, don't get me wrong it's not bad e-liquid. They have a very smart way of rotating in and out different brands. However there is a flaw to this method, that is the menu's. They have a great dripping/tasting bar where the menus sit. The first time I went they had probably 80% of the juices listed, the second time it was about 60% The most recent time it was probably more like 30-35% if that. Also most the juices they did have in stock that were on the menu were crazy high nicotine levels that someone like me, and I'm guessing most of there customers, couldn't use. This made trying to find a juice in my flavor profile quite difficult. The thing is menus are a great idea. What I think they need to do is possibly implement a system that is easier to add/subtract the juices as they are rotated out. Maybe iPads or chalk boards might be a good solution. Like I said up top this is by far one of the best vape shops in CT if not New England. They are worthy of five stars but until that menu problem is fixed I gotta be real and give four. But please don't let that little negative deter you from visiting the shop. Not only is this shop great but they are also involved in advocacy and are members of the Connecticut SAFATA chapter. They regularly hold cloud competitions and meets, which I haven't had the pleasure of being apart of quite yet but look forward to doing so. Hope this review helped. read more

When I met the people who run the store I found them not only very friendly, but very knowledgeable in all there products they sell in there store. The customers that come in either as regulars or for the first time are experiencing a fantastic place to find a way to get away from smoking tobacco products & creating a better life for them selves. Went in today to buy some juul pods and had a conversation with the guys in the store and they warned me to look out for fake pods that are being sold around my area. I thanked them and purchased a pack of mango pods (hard to find those around here) and when I went to open them they were fake! I am appalled that they would have the nerve to tell me to look out for fake ones and then proceed to sell me fake pods. The only reason I am not giving a 1 star review is because they replaced them with legitimate mint pods. Take this review as a warning to anyone planning buying on mango pods at this store. read more

By far my favorite vape shop in CT. From high end to everything in between they have the best selection of gear. By far they have best selection of juice, not to mention they created my favorite line Blue Bird. White Buffalo is an awesome place even if you just need somewhere to chill, they have plenty of comfy couches and they always have netflix playing on the projector to make the atmosphere warm and inviting. I don't see why we can't give negative reviews on here. That's what this store deserves, after all. Less than one star. All of their merchandise is wildly overpriced, customer service is worse than horrible, and the professionalism that one would expect from an environment such as this is virtually non existent. I had been a loyal customer since day one of this shop opening but no more. I have spent a decent amount of money with them and only two weeks ago bought a new fairly expensive mod that I have already had problems with. Not only when I bought it the mutton chopped walrus of a "sales associate" had no clue of any background or information on it but then when I came back only two weeks later when the battery was no longer working whatsoever he tells me that "oh that is normal. you just have to buy a new battery." Ive had batteries on vapes last years without one single problem. This store has to change its hiring process or something because the customer service from half of the employees is sub par to say the least. How can I feel comfortable with a business when they don't back up any of the product they sell let alone offer a warranty? I'd think about reconsidering going back only when they adopt a better model of customer service and start actually taking care of the customers as well as getting educated and knowledgeable employees on staff. Until then I have no problem going to the vape shop across the street and telling everyone else to do so as well. read more
