Our wedding anniversary is 29th February; we were married on this date so that I only had to buy an anniversary card and present once every 4 years. Joking aside, I decided that I would book a table in the restaurant at the Strafford arms to celebrate our wedding anniversary on March 1st this year. The on-line booking system was user friendly and a confirmation message was sent to me within moments. This was a great feature as I'm a born worrier and wanted this to be the perfect surprise. The meal was excellent as was the service which was provided by helpful, friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. I've never felt so empowered to write a review before but in this case, I felt I had to as both my wife, Julie and myself can highly recommend this venue.

Lawned beer garden, toddler area, it's an amazing hidden gem. This was the worst pub in the area and now is without a doubt the best in my opinion. Call in and have a look for yourself. Independently run free house with a great selection of beers lagers over 50 gins Feaver Tree tonics, great wine selection, and food coming in the next few weeks or so. Plus the famous Belgian Blue beer by Bradfield Brewery whilst stocks last, I'm told!
