I understand it's a "luxury" apartment but I don't really see the luxury in anything bc every other apartment offers the same thing. Of course they're nice on the inside but the prices aren't worth it. I hated that I had to move out of here bc I really did love it but I just couldn't get w the prices. I found a 2br in Fort Worth for CHEAPER than a "luxury" 1br at 3sixty flats. So unfortunate ):

The staff is very nice and they host cute events for the residents (Covid friendly, of course). I really like the Amazon hub convenience. The dog park and access to the EPIC/Warrior trail is cool too! The maintenance guys are great and fast! Now, the not so good stuff... Parking. We finally gave in and got a carport. If you aren't home before 5 or 6, you may be circling and looking for a spot far way from your actual apartment. Next, the awful, annoying sound of the garages opening and closing. It's my first time living at an apartment with garages on the first floor so, maybe this is normal???? We are on the second floor and there's a garage under our bedroom. I am a healthcare worker and I work night shifts often. So, it is pretty frustrating when I am going to sleep at 8am after a 12hr shift and the sound of factory machine goes off two hours later. Can this be fixed/improved?? Asking for a friend. Haha Anyway, I would still recommend Bexley to others. :)

Do NOT move here unless you are on a top floor. These apartments are cheaply made and the walls are…read moreobviously thin. If your neighbor's alarm goes off, you will hear it. Ask about your upstairs neighbors first. I've been complaining about running and stomping over my head since I moved here in December and they can't do anything but try to "document" it, which is hard to do since it's not party noise. They claim to have a community attendant who has never shown up to investigate the noise I've complained about. Now, the noise line says they can only come out if the noise is happening at the moment. The office staff have come by and tried to listen for noise, but if it's not happening when they stop by, it's not a problem. I'm paying too much money to deal with noise every evening. Skip these apartments and find another property. Oh, and they will let you transfer units for a ton of money. Scam! Save yourself.

I currently live at Shadow Brook Apartments. I renewed my lease after living here a year and I…read morereally enjoy it. The grounds are well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and quick to respond. The structure of Shadow Brook is a non profit and the apartments are leased for ranges, based on your income (though it IS NOT section 8 housing). They offer efficiencies on up, and are usually on a wait list. They only show apartments on Fridays and do not always have one to show each Friday, though they do have a photograph album of model apartments and floor plans. Initially I was nervous to rent an apartment without seeing the unit first, but I couldn't be happier. With the option I chose (the loft style 1 bedroom) I have plenty of space and am able to live on my own affordably ($490 a month rent). Many of my friends and classmates pay nearly double to live, in many cases, a worse complex. When I moved to Arlington and told people I live at Shadow Brook I usually got an odd look, and some informed me that it used to be bad, but that was before Foundation Communities bought it a couple of years ago. Today, I have never felt unsafe nor have I worried about being ripped off or felt like my neighbors were shady. Upon my renewal they cleaned my carpet for free, they offer residual pest control and special request pest control visits each Wednesday (at no additional charge, without limits) and they use ABC Pest and Lawn. In the back of the complex is a boys and girls club and at tax season United Way sets up and helps you file your taxes for free. At least once a month they have a "produce day" where fresh produce can be bought at a good cost in the front of the building. Its close to UTA (actually a shorter bike ride for me than a drive due to the traffic on Cooper) and well located. I will renew again next year if it continues to be the wonderful property I have enjoyed.

Living at Creekwood Apartments on Pioneer Road in Irving, TX, has been an absolute nightmare. I…read morelived there for three years, and the experience was completely unsatisfactory. For starters, there was hardly ever any hot water. Multiple complaints to management went unresolved, leaving me to deal with cold showers most of the time. The dishwasher in my unit never worked--not once in three years! Despite submitting maintenance requests, nothing was ever fixed. It's clear that management has no interest in addressing basic maintenance issues or providing a decent living experience for their tenants. On top of that, the property feels completely unsafe. Packages were frequently stolen, cars were broken into, and I even heard of motorcycles being stolen right off the property. The lack of security is alarming. If you're considering moving here, I strongly urge you to think twice. Between the lack of basic utilities, unresponsive management, and the constant feeling of insecurity, this place is not worth it. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Do yourself a huge favor and move to Las Colinas u will forever thank me. Entire different world on that side of town.

I do not recommend living at The Gibson Apartments. My experience has been consistently frustrating…read moreand, at times, unsafe. There was an ant infestation that affected my family, and it took far too long to get resolved. Maintenance requests in general are either delayed or ignored. A major safety issue with the washing machine lid has still not been fixed, even after it caused injuries to both my wife and me. The condition of the property is also unacceptable. Hallways often smell like marijuana, floors are dirty, and there are dead bugs throughout common areas. Exterior doors are frequently left open, which has led to non-residents entering the building and even sleeping in the hallways. Packages are also frequently stolen from the mailroom, which adds another layer of concern around security and management oversight. On top of that, management has been unresponsive and tends to make excuses instead of fixing problems. The outdoor areas are poorly maintained, with dog waste covering much of the grass. For the price, the living experience is well below average. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and well-managed place to live.

Overall a pretty good place to live. We got in with pretty good rent for their smallest unit…read more Pros: Great interiors, updated appliances, well cultivated landscaping. Minutes from DFW airport and a nice midway point between Fort Worth and Dallas. Maintenance is friendly and prompt. Walls seem to be thick enough to drown out all but the most obnoxious neighbors. Walking distance from TRE. Cons: Grocery stores are a bit of a trek. Area food options are fairly limited for a sit down meal. Required cable and valet trash service tacks on around $50-60 / month. Don't watch cable, but when I did the charter service was horrible -- cutting in and out on nearly every channel worth watching. Other notes: I found the duct work to be pretty horrible so our A/C was really inefficient, driving our electric bills up far beyond what we should have to pay for 800sqft. I actually reached turn off a light switch and felt cold air blowing out of the receptacle. That means cold air was circulating within the walls better than throughout the apartment. We had our bikes chained to the railing in the breezeway (3rd floor) and they were stolen. That's the risk you take, but for a gated community (whose gates have often been broken) I would have expected at least some tone of sympathy from the management. Instead, I got a pretty lazy excuse, "The contractors still haven't given us a quote." As a business owner, I can see both sides of that coin --they're not technically liable-- but it is difficult to see the gates stuck open so often and see emails about "Ice Cream Socials" and so on. I can buy my own ice cream, I can't buy a security gate. I want to know that my property manager is concerned about the same things I am. Overall, I was fairly happy with the 800sqft for $950 per month all said and done, but I feel like the rent had gone up significantly by the time we were thinking about renewing. Other areas worth considering within a 5 minute drive are Bear Creek area and some apts north of 183 on 360 in Euless.
