I love buying ceramics here! They have great deals and the staff are very friendly…read more Reliable quality!

I first started shopping at Utsuwa-No-Yakata when they had a store in Kent, WA. When that closed,…read moreI was in such dismay missing the quality Japanese-ware at very reasonable costs. I was very delighted when I discovered the shop at Aberdeen Centre, with the same spread and even some high end items in the back. Awesome! I have quite a collection from this store. Mostly bowls of all sorts, different diameters, depths, and slope of walls that I use for salads, ramen, pasta, and serving bowls. I also have (too many) of their boxed small condiment bowls that I use for the dining table and for soaps and trinkets. They are so pretty with high quality glazes. I have an affinity for girly colors, which unfortunately, that selection is limited. The normal colors are blue with whites and dark shades, according to the sales lady. If they have a wider color palate, this would be a 5 stars experience for sure. They do have a couple that have pink cherry blossoms and/or bunnies. There's nothing like eating your meal from dishes that make you smile. I highly recommend this store. :) Check out the pieces in the back wall behind glass. They are for sale with prices to match the behind glass status. An exception is a few piggy-banks that are not piggy shape. Those would make nice gifts.

I recommend Perfect Arts Framing if you are looking for customized picture frames or want to update…read moreor change up your old photo frames at affordable prices. Please note that they have moved to No.5 Road in Richmond, so call first to get their address before you head there! I went to Perfect Arts today after reading the excellent review by the other Yelper (Steven M). I was looking for a 40 x 50 cm glass piece for my photo frame, because I accidentally dropped my big photo frame when I was trying to hang it and I broke the old glass! I was googling for Richmond BC photo frame companies and found that this location offered cheaper according to the other Yelper. I called in and the owner was very professional, she said she would check her stock and call me back. Then she gave me a price quote estimate and I went into purchase. They had the glass piece right away because it was a standard size, so I felt very lucky. I was fine if I had to wait a few days, so it was a pleasant surprise to get my photo frame glass replaced right away! Their prices are cheaper than other stores since they are a warehouse. I'll be coming back in the near future to change my University diploma frame and customize it to a prettier look. (My University gives boring dark old frames, so I want to change the frame to match my home colors). The owner speaks English and Cantonese; she was a very nice and professional lady. They have a big selection of frames at their warehouse at lower prices than other stores, and I was happy with my purchase and the customer service today.

This place is cheap! I got a large picture framed, with two layers of matting, for 2/3rds the price…read morethat I paid at the framing store at Davie and Bute, and that was after the guy at Davie and Bute said that he was giving me a discount! Not only that, but this guy was closed when I arrived. He had a number posted on the door. I called it, and he was there in ten minutes smiling away. Probably enjoying the food court downstairs.
