And then, there's the friendly people, always smiling and making you more of a fan of Cantine. I've eaten veggie burgers across Paris, and this place figures in the top three. I was not disappointed. The pair that own the food truck were super friendly and helpful and enthusiastic about our enthusiasm. It was great. I got the Half Moon Bay Burger: Roquefort, blackened red peppers, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions and of course a special sauce. The burger was done right, had enough fat so it wasn't dry and nasty and the bun was substantial and delicious. Oh, did I mention they offer SWEET POTATO FRIES? This is so uniquely American so obviously I got them. And they were spot on. To end the lunch I had a red velvet cupcake, that they gladly replaced for me when I received it, covered in walnuts (I'm allergic). The cupcake itself was a perfect level of moistness, and the frosting. Oh the frosting. Not cloyingly sweet, and had the perfect amount of cream cheese. I cannot wait to head back here for their blueberry pancakes/bacon combo some morning. Customers may place an orders at a of bank self-service machines. They will guide you in several languages. Pick up and pay at the counters. Keep your receipt as it includes the restroom entry code. Two floors of seating. A nice spot for quick refreshment when visiting historic Rouen.

It was a perfect stop for us as a family of five (with varied tastes). They have a ton of sandwiches for everyone, from great decadent burgers, to creative chicken sandwiches, to impressive choices for vegetarians, as well as excellent french fries. Our kids loved it! The workers weren't friendly and when it was closing time they started cleaning and putting benches on the tables and shaking out the floor mats near tables - gross. We were finished, so I didn't mind but there were a lot of other tables still eating and all were made to feel unwelcome.
