I was shocked to find out that the water was only 0.25 cents per gallon jug of reverse osmosis water. It was super fast as you hang your jugs to the multiple employees waiting at the entrance. I had them install a water softener at my house 4 years ago. Now both tanks are cracked and one of the pipe junctions is leaking. They sent a guy out. He looked at it and confirmed what I already knew. He said they would call me to schedule tank replacement. No one called. I called them. They said the cracked tanks would be covered under warranty and replacement labor would be about the same price as my original install. I asked when they could replace them and they have no idea. Guessing they are waiting for my tanks to go out of warranty first. They don't seem to stand by their work or their products. I don't recommend them. Update - Called Brevard Water Solutions for a quote. They are installing replacement tanks for less than The Waterman was going to charge me to replace one tank and The tanks from The Waterman are still under warranty. Something fishy there. read more

Very poor service!! Had them out because my water was salty. The men who came did their job but did not have the filter I needed. I was told they would come back with the filter so I could use my RO system. The office and said they too booked up to come back out and I would have to wait two weeks for the filter to be installed. I will be finding a new water service. read more

SCAM! Do not ever get a water softener from them. Please read below before purchasing a water softener from them. 1. When they came out to install the system, they did not dig deep to drain the water that comes out from the water softener. So we have an issue where the water is getting stagnant around the water softener system and thus killing grass, increasing mosquitoes etc. 2. When we noticed this issue, we called them within a few weeks of installation and they said they would charge the service fee just to come out and look at something that's clearly their installation mistake. Finally, when I told them that I was considering to get an additional system from them and wanted a guy to come out quote, they sent someone out. He basically came and saw the water puddle around the water softener and said they couldn't do anything about it and we had to get a plumber out. 3. The reason why I called it scam is because when they quote a small amount for their water softener (somewhere in the $700 range compared to about $1400 range from other companies), they don't tell you that you are not getting all the things that comprise a water softener. You only get a part of the system which takes away minerals and not the part of the system that takes away Chlorine. Which by the way, is another main reason to get a water softener, to take away Chlorine. Be careful, they will never tell you that. Other places that charge you $1400 to $1600 give you everything you need for a water softener system. Now, we have to put in extra money to not kill our lawn. Any cost savings (and more) that these guys use as part of their sales tactics, is now directed to fixing their mess. Summary: avoid them at all costs! read more

This morning I woke to no water. Well pump was making a little growl but not pumping water at all. Called the Waterman and although he was really slammed today he quoted me a decent price for a new pump and installation and came right out. Found out it was not the pump but a solenoid inside the pump that went bad, so he replaced just that and had my system up and running for a fraction of the new pump. Would definitely use them again!!! read more

I had the pleasure of Waterman repairing and updating my water softening system this morning. Having had previous problems with another company, I was wary. To my surprise, every part of the system was inspected from the aerator to the water feed on the refrigerator. This was done to insure that everything was working properly, not to sell me excessive parts and labor that I didn't need. He reset the timer, added salt, checked the pressure tank and the sprayers on the aerator. That's it! Didn't try to sell me a new system or parts for this one. Then tested and primed the system under the sink, also no parts needed. Everything works now. And I wasn't sold anything I didn't need. If you want work done at your home with honesty and pride call Waterman. Never again pay for anything you don't need. read more

Per Matt, the new owner Chris refused to return my calls for continued brown water because "he was put off with my report he installed the wrong equipment". I had 3 different companies tell me the same thing the equipment for "double iron" in my water should never have used an aerator. The pump was too small- larger sizer installed. We also liked that all of their systems show the full price, including installation, so there are no hidden costs. We purchased a filter system to eliminate any odor and taste in our water. do not do business with this company. had craig the owner at the time install the system. about 1 to 2 years after one of the tanks started to leak. notified the new owner chris about the problem. tank has 10 year warranty but i would have to pay labor and matierals. the company said about 750 dollars.. whatever the cost it sould be between chris and the tank manufactor. wasnt my fault they bought a defective tank. they used ever excuse why its not their problem. none of them had to do with a bad tank. if you read reviews they were when craig owned the company. wish he still did wouldnt have this problem. read more

We had a water softener system installed by The Waterman a couple of years ago. We had multiple issues with it and kept on spending money in repairs although system was still under warranty. On the last service call with them, without they sending anyone to inspect the tank, manager Jessica Martinez said that we had to replace pistons, seals and spacers but they were on back order... After about 4 weeks of calling and waiting for these parts, we decided to call another company. A technician went there and mentioned that there were no issues with those parts but the problem was the pressure tank, which apparently was "faulty" thus the bladder "kept on going bad". We called the Water Man and Jessica spoke to the owner who said that we were out of luck because the manufacturer went out of business and there were no longer manufacturing those tanks or warranting them, which was a lie. The manufacturer is still in business and although they don't make those any more, they sent us a free replacement. THERE ARE MANY UNETHICAL ISSUES HERE, ONE THEY NEVER ADMITTED THE TANK WAS FAULTY AND KEPT ON CHARGING US FOR REPAIRS, THEY LIED ABOUT THE MANUFACTURER BEING OUT OF BUSINESS AND THEY DID NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE BUT OFFERED TO INSTALL ANOTHER ONE AND CHARGE FOR TANK AND LABOR. THAT'S NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. read more

Service call because water was salty. Tech smoked in my garage without asking. Replaced head on pump and racked up a $400 bill and said "it's standard procedure" to do it without asking. He got mad and stomped out to end of driveway whining on phone to store. He came back to get his stuff. Gave me no info without me asking. Left parts of system on floor broken. Did not replace cover to match new head. Said to let system finish running, got paid with check & left. 4 hours later we discovered he left outside water hose running full blast. System was not fixed. 2nd service guy came out and said we didn't have enough salt in system despite us telling him it used 80 lbs in 3 days. Left without fixing anything. We give up. The store personnel are polite but no one seems to be in charge of the tech/service guys. We had bought several thousand dollars of equipment in last 3 years and would have replaced this older part of system as well if we had been given any info or customer service at all. I would not recommend them ever again. Huge disappointment. read more

We had both our well pump and water softener pump go out together. We had the pleasure of having Chris take care of us. He kept trying to fix things without having to replace the entire pump. Unfortunately, the pumps were both 15 years old and needed to be replaced but it was nice that we weren't taken advantage of, especially being young first time homeowners. The recommendation of the waterman came from our neighbor who said he would never use anyone else and they have gained another customer for life. we were absolutely pleased from start to finish with our service. Chris instilled confidence in his ability to describe exactly how I would like my system setup. I originally called for an estimate, but when on the property and I explained my situation, Chris quickly bandaged my system and got me up and running immediately. I liked the work, and the company has an excellent reputation but the built-in profits from the sales side weren't so attractive. I did my research and purchased my own equipment, but still wanted The Water Man to install the equipment. The price quote was originally over $1K including a pump for $630. I opted for the Amazon route and bought a use softener instead. The pump and configuration went in great and according to the estimate would be $250. The refurbishment of my softener was an additional $200. Which if it was done, I would have a running softener. I had a used softener and a backup I got from a friend that both turned out to no good. I thought it was time to wrap it up as I had obligations for the day. I decided I would buy a new water softener system online. If you're following the story thus far, my bill would be something $450, for the install and the troubleshooting of dead water softeners/ My bill was for $650. I promptly paid it, as I mentioned I was already late. After going over the previous estimate, I realized I paid too much. I called the company and then visited their storefront location. I was given a refund of $50. Why pay more? That's a great question The Water Man, Why? read more
