What a spectacular place to have lunch, on the verandah over the water of the inlet. It is a balmy spring afternoon with a gentle breeze and not a cloud in the sky. We started with some pesto bread, toasted Turkish generously spread with pesto, pine nuts and parmesan. I had the seafood chowder, a lovely creamy soup full of prawns, fish and pipies. My wife had the grilled barramundi with herbed butter. A generous piece of fish on a bed of chips with a lightly dressed fresh salad. We finished with a berry pavlova, also very yummy. The service was very friendly not overbearing or fast, but that is what you want for a lazy afternoon lunch. read more
