I heard about "the place that counts with machines" but never visited. My bottles & cans have…read morealways been processed by a clerk behind a counter or one at a time by the machines at Wegmans. This time I had LOTS so I thought I'd give it a try. This business is unusual in that the business operates out of the building's side entrance. Parking is adequate, especially since the turn over rate here is surprising. I was met at the door by two very friendly employees who explained how this system works. They do everything. Just hand them the bags and stand back. The system operates so quickly that I was just barely able to keep up bringing bags in. The system is totally automated. Once the workers empty the bags into the sorting area everything is automatic. It's really amazing to watch as the bottles and cans are arranged and processed to a conveyor belt that takes them away. Everything is counted by computer. When finished, you're given a ticket that you take to a window where you are paid. Start to finish, 779 bottles and cans were processed in 6 minutes including getting paid I will never go anywhere else again.

It's a very large open area with dark gravel and I think would get super hot in the sun. Fossils were plentiful and easy to find which makes for a great day out for any ability or age. The highlight here is trilobites but there are many other sea creatures and the occasional squid like creature. Next to our spot were more serious hunters who were taking specimens for university and museum use. Definitely bring safety goggles, a hammer and something to split rocks. Rocks can and do fly up. Gloves are helpful too. It is a very large area so I don't think it would be hard to find a good spot even on a crowded day. We had a ton of fun and can't wait to go back.

The staff were super helpful - we arrived along with two other families who had never been and one of the staff gave us a tour on our walk to the digging sites. They give you a little cheat sheet of fossils so you know what to look for, and the staff person stayed out with us almost the entire time helping folx to decipher fossil vs just a rock. We are headed home now with LOADS of fossils that my little aspiring paleontologist discovered. I'll admit mom and dad had fun searching for treasures and breaking apart the rocks was also very therapeutic! The toddler had fun walking over rock piles and digging in the dirt, so truly everyone left happy. We spent about an hour there and with the toddler I don't imagine we could've lasted much longer. We will definitely be back!

I rented a rolloff from Dumpsters.com (Tucson location) on 8/31/20 based on their 'reasonable'…read morerates. By the way I contacted corporate as well as the local Tucson office and neither would provide me their physical Tucson address. Things went well until six weeks after I contracted them out for a 15 yard rolloff rental. I soon found their business practice is to send out weight overages on the rentals 6-8 weeks after the fact. As a customer you have absolutely no recourse but to pay the penalty for the overage. It is why the business is able to offer low rental rates. And then when you contact them for their physical address all they will tell you is their corporate office is in Cleveland, OH. It's a shady way of doing business (bordering on unethical). As the saying goes, "buyer beware." I for one would never recommend doing business with Dumpsters.com unless you like surprise bills/fees after the fact.
