I can't understand some of the hate on this business. I have been dealing with The Warming Store now for fifteen years. We are inveterate skiers who love the Winter outdoors and spend 60-80 ski days yearly. Still, comfort is the name of the game. I have two heated vests, a heated pullover, a heated fleece jacket, two pair of gloves and a pair of mittens that I purchased from The Warming Store. I have never, ever, had a problem with them. As a matter of fact, the first pair of heated ski gloves I bought from them started shutting off and on after six years of use, and taking note of their lifetime warranty, I called their repair number and spoke to Margaret, who asked me to return them. They repaired them and sent them back within two weeks. The gloves are now working flawlessly. It must be said that before I started purchasing gloves from them, I had purchased heated gloves from a competitor. I had a similar shutting off and on problem with those gloves and after sending them back, I got a note that they wouldn't cover them again as I used them too much. So then I went with the Warming Store. I have not had a problem since. And additionally, I purchased additional upgraded glove batteries from them. I can be on the slopes for a full day without changing batteries. As well, I also bought a large, extended life battery for my heated vest that although the size of an iPhone, I can wear it on the mid setting on a 0º day for the entire ski day and the battery is still over 50% charged. read more

I bought a pair of gloves from them, and the sizing on their website was so far off that it was like a joke. I returned them, which they made into a hassle, and ordered a new pair based on the size chart on the box. I tried wearing the new pair on a trip to Vermont, but they still don't fit. I was very disappointed in the delivery of a cooler we ordered. I paid over $30 for expedited 3 day shipping. As it turned out, The Warming Store was ordering the cooler from a different vendor and never let me know it was out of stock until I called them to find out the status. Took 3 weeks to get the product which eats into their crazy 30 day return policy which is the EXACT SAME for Exchange...we just wanted to get a smaller size (net neutral to them with our expense for shipping) and it was 34 days after ordering and their 'policy' will not allow for EXCHANGE....even if we wanted to buy a more expensive product. I'll echo what others have written in an attempt to save someone else the headache. They'll take your money without noting your item will take weeks to ship. They won't respond if you try to cancel once it becomes obvious your item isn't showing up in the near future. They will ghost you if you try to return something. I ordered a pair of boots on 01/28/2025. I received my order 02/04/2025. Opened the package and the boots were four sizes bigger than I ordered. Got ahold of customer service, after 8 tries, and was told they would not ship the correct size until they received my return package. Seriously?? They had my $$ from the order and was already applied to my card. Shipped them back on 02/05/2025 FedEx. They received my return package on 02/10/2025. Horrible customer service and horrible communications. Placed an order with expedited shipping. Goods did not arrive in shipment window. Checked the order on the TWS website, resulting in no info about my shipping. Sent an email requesting info, received no reply. Finally got through to an agent (overseas call center) after several tries, and they advised my goods were back ordered - no info on availability timing. I requested they cancel my order and had them stay on the line until I received an email confirming order cancellation. Totally shady operation - my recommendation is to avoid this business. I had never heard of this company before, just found them online as a supplier to my favorite slipper. They looked good online and the price was below what I normally pay. That should have been my first clue. The ship status didn't change in a week. Showed as "processing" but nothing was happening. The charge on my credit card didn't change either, it was posted as pending. I sent an email to support which was not answered. Tried calling a few times. Call kept dropping. That is when I went online to check reviews and complaints to the BBB because I was started to feel something was wrong. I was shocked how many complaints I saw and read similar stories to my own. I kept calling until I got a human to answer. He told me the item was back ordered and should deliver in 10 days. (Of course, I received no notification of this update and I didn't believe him) I told him I just wanted to cancel. He did cancel the order and I did get an email confirming the cancellation. Then I checked my credit card account. The "pending" charge that sat there for a week as pending suddenly changed to a charge right after I cancelled the order. So now I am going through the dispute process with the CC company because I do not trust a credit will issue. Why? Because the charge did not change from pending to a charge until AFTER I called to cancel. Coincidence? I think not. Believe the bad reviews. This company scams you out of your money. read more

Ordered the heated glove liners - $271.96. They were way too long in the fingers - even for my husband! I sent them back with the label they provided, but in order to be sure I got the gloves before my ski trip, I purchased another pair for an additional $271.96, and they said they would refund the money after they received the returned pair. The label was emailed to me January 17th and I immediately put them in the mail and I got confirmation that it was signed and received by the company. It is now February 4th, and I still can't get the refund because of the "high volume of returns" and "it might take a while before we can process it" ...hmmmm. I called and was told their supplier for this product is 'being slow' and it would be another 12 day wait, minimum, before my order would ship. I have no idea if it even will ship by then and it's too late anyway. I expected (and needed) the product by now since they claim to have your order to you within 2-8 days. Not 3-4 weeks! Absolutely horrible customer service. I had to return a jacket because it was the wrong size. It was returned and accepted by the company. After 3 weeks, they have not sent out the replacement coat. They have asked for the fedex tracking number about 3 times regarding the returned jacket, and 3 times I have sent it. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience with a company before. The SIDAS heated socks. Socks arrived early and battery in backorder for a long time. They said they would give me credit back but never did. One of the insoles that I purchased quit working. I hoped to simply have them send me a new one (just one mind you, not a pair). I would not do business with the warming store anymore. I purchased a pair of electric gloves for my husband size lodge. When he tried them on, they were too small. The problem is that he he can't find the charging that goes with the gloves. I sent an email and I was willing to pay for a new battery but just send me an extra large pair of gloves. When I phone called, they said to me we cannot do that. You need to purchase a new pair of gloves to get the battery. So you mean I need to send $125.00 for another set of gloves to get the charger. so then I called back again as I was telling my story they hung up on me. Then I tried exchanging an item I ordered for another size and discovered they truly SUCK!!! Sent multiple unanswered emails requesting help with the exchange. Then I tried calling. Was left on hold, only to be hung up on multiple times. Final got someone who could not speak English but did send me a return label for $9.
