I have always wanted to go check out a show here, so I'm grateful for the chance. Also, this was my first time seeing a ballet. The American Reportory Ballet is the group that put on the performance. The thing I loved about this theater is that it doesn't appear to be a bad seat in the house. I had a great view. Also, I loved that for this particular performance, they had characters from the show in the lobby that you could take pictures of or with. They also sold different souvenirs including actual nutcrackers, ornaments, and books. Another thing I noticed is that the staff are accommodating to people who have disabilities. I saw them remove a seat to make space for someone who uses a walker/wheelchair. I would definitely return to see another show!

The clean sound system provided a pristine experience for crucial 90s moments like the opening bass of Divine Hammer. Orchestra seats were surprisingly the same price as most of the balcony, no idea whether that's a Ticketmaster thing or a Count Basie thing. Venue entry was quick and painless. There were no bathroom lines at off-peak moments, at closing time there were lines but not of record lengths. Geography note for NYC-area people: it's walkable to the train station but you might be waiting a bit.

We watched magic came to life as the intimacy of the venue (The Vogel) made you almost feel a part of it. From the second it started, I was entranced and caught up by the fast pace, action filled show. This production, full of top notch talent, was hysterically funny. The complexity of what the actors had to do just flowed effortlessly. Props to the props! ‍I didn't want it to end. Nonstop laughter! One of my favorite productions, unexpectedly! Grew up during the 2nd wave of British invasion to the U.S. There is not one 80s group that I don't know about. Not many people know of this band. Cy Curnin can still perform and sing. Love his voice and the way he dances on stage. So happy that I got to see him in my late 50s. Pros: - acoustics were on point. - intimate venue which makes the view from each seat great. - plush comfortable seating. - restrooms are clean and I love the decor. - every staff member we encountered were helpful and friendly. - I was thirsty AF from all the dancing. I was actually okay with them charging $4 for bottled water. Cons: - none Interestingly enough, most of the fans for this concert were well over 60 years old. There were two police officers in the lobby to keep an eye on things in case us seniors get into a scuffle. Lol. You can see where the tax dollars are going in this township. Entering and exiting this beautiful theater was quick and easy. Here is a parking tip: instead of paying $30 at the adjacent lot, you can park at the Red Bank Train Station for free after 11am. If you have a handicap person with you, GOOD LUCK. Show was at 7:30, we arrived at 6:00 to NO parking. I drove around for 30 min. Were told to go to the municipal lot. Coming from 2 hours away, no clue where that was, I was busy dodging cars and people in the dark. I ended up dropping off the handicap person and parking down past the train or bus station, I don't know what it was as I was huffing it MANY BLOCKS to get back to my 89 yr old guest and watching shady looking guys standing around watching. As you got closer to the theater, I felt safer. We had 2nd row balcony seats, great view but if you are over 5 ft, your knees are SCREWED. Everyone around me had their knees getting crushed, no leg room at all. I don't have bad knees and mine were hurting being forced bent for so long. Then the guy in front of us was rocking and rolling, so his chair was smashing into my knees. I'm only 5'4". I hope others have a better experience. Ours was not a great bday celebration.
