It's a cozy space part of Mike Hillman's studio that has a doorbell rigged up to a guitar, rock posters and a waiting bench. Other students range from high level tech execs to kids and everything in between. There are those that dedicated fiends looking to shred and those of us taking a slower route given our career focus. Mike is patient with all types and can accommodate. He also does hilarious voices. I recently decided to start playing the flute again after a 10-year hiatus, but unfortunately, I…read morenoticed that my flute was in really bad shape and borderline unplayable. I've had my flute for over 15 years, but I never got it professionally cleaned or maintained it properly... I found out about Mr. Eppler online and contacted him about getting my flute repaired. He got back to me immediately, and instead of shaming me for not taking care of my flute properly, he congratulated me on picking up playing the flute again. He and his assistant, James, who are both really friendly, worked on my flute over the weekend and fixed it up within a couple of days. I was amazed by how quickly they were able to turn it around, and how great my flute sounds now. Originally, it had so many problems including 6 big leaks and 5 bent keys, but It now plays better than when I first bought the flute.
