I did not realize he had a yelp, now that I do I feel compelled to write a review. The best part of getting married was having Nick as our photographer and Jeff as our videographer... actually wait, it was marrying my wife! But these guys were a close second. Very professional, but some of the most down to earth, coolest humans I know!

From the first moment we encountered him, in the groom's room with the groomsmen prepping for the big event, he was awesome. Very casual and loose, but incredibly professional and creative. He was everywhere at the wedding, suggesting shots I would never have thought of and being open to suggestions himself. Frankly, he was one of the highlights of an already great event and I really can't recommend him highly enough.

Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience!…read more I had a terrible experience with Clivabeth Photography. The owner, Liz, was unfriendly, unhelpful, and unprofessional--especially when I reached out about my child's photos. During my daughter senior session, she was given no guidance on posing, resulting in poorly composed photos where important props blended into her white gown. Her hair and head placement weren't adjusted, and overall she received fewer and lower-quality shots compared to other students. What concerned me most was the clear difference in treatment. Another senior present received detailed pose instructions, got to review photos on the camera, and their parent was allowed to stay in the room. Meanwhile, I was asked to wait in the hallway and my daughter was rushed through her session, leaving us feeling disrespected and discriminated against. We also paid sitting fees but weren't allowed to view or help with photos. Regular school pictures had to be self-edited before ordering, and they arrived bent in the mail. Other parents I spoke with also disliked their photos and plan to retake them elsewhere. Overall, very poor service, inconsistent treatment, and low-quality results. I do not recommend this vendor at all.

To anyone planning the wedding of their dreams, even during the middle of a global pandemic…read more... please stop looking and book Clivabeth Photography ASAP!!! Elizabeth was our photographer for our engagement session in January 2020, and then again for our small, outdoor, COVID-compliant wedding on 11/14/2020. During the engagement session, she was fun, professional, and knowledgable about dog-friendly sites! We were blown away at how beautiful these shots came out, and she designed our Save the Dates with them, which everyone loved! However, during our wedding day come November, Elizabeth surpassed all previous expectations!! She was on-site a few hours prior to ceremony start to capture those fun "getting ready" moments for both myself and the groom and the ceremony space before and as guests arrived. During both the first-look and the ceremony, Elizabeth closely captured all the emotions PERFECTLY...and yet the camera's presence didn't feel intrusive at all! The rest of the night was photographed seamlessly, from family portraits to guests at their individual tables, to a socially-distanced group picture, our first dance, dinner menu options, the cake-cutting, and the bouquet toss...every little detail was captured!! By the time Elizabeth told us it was time for her to leave, we were honestly a little bummed..she absolutely felt like a friend leaving the wedding early! We received a few sneak peek shots a few days later...and they LITERALLY BROUGHT TEARS TO OUR EYES! They we're STUNNING. Once we got access to our entire wedding gallery about 3 weeks later...we were amazed to see our little (pandemic) fairy tale captured so beautifully on film. As we shared different shots on social media and with family, everyone commented on how gorgeous they were and how stellar our photographer was! We had just enough time to use some of these photos for a Christmas card, which Elizabeth quickly designed, and our friends/family loved! We're now in the process of choosing photos for different wall art pieces, which we can't wait to have in our home as forever keepsakes. As other opportunities for photoshoots or portrait sessions arise in years to come, we know EXACTLY who we will be hiring- and we'll be recommending only Clivabeth Photography to anyone in need! Thank you again, Elizabeth! You are simply AMAZING!

Vinney was recommended by a mutual friend for my wedding. This is more about his videography skills…read morethan the photography. About a month before our wedding date the videographer we had booked almost a year in advance decided that he was going to cancel on us for personal reasons. I asked our photographer if he had any recommendations and asked my friend in the music industry if he had any friends that we would even consider flying in. Our friend told us Vinney has some background in Videography. On his site he had more engagements than weddings I think but I liked what I saw and with about a month away I was willing to take anyone whose content looked good. The introduction was over a phone call. He asked a few questions, we asked a few questions--also knowing we were willing to fly him from SoCal and pay for his room. He sent us the proposal and contract. Vinney's communication is superb! It was very nice and he was easy to work with. He already had a pretty easy electronic payment process. Oh and the video product itself... AH-MAZING! He recommended pouring glasses of wine and sitting and watching it together, just me and my husband. Early on in the planning I asked if he could incorporate my friend's saxophone playing into the video. I had no idea when he would get it to start playing and just let him do his magic. He started the video with (I think) pretty generic music that goes with the frames. Vinney's magic came when he used the Matron of Honor's speech where she started to talk about how kind and caring my husband is and THAT was when you could hear my friend playing You'll Be in My Heart. I lost it at that moment. Like it was so epically good that the waterworks started! We've showed our family and a few friends and they rave about how well done it is. Vinney is VERY talented with his videography. His style is fun, smooth and matched our personalities. I would recommend his videography any day.

On the day he was very professional and prepared and despite our plans going awry (it rained and we did not at all stick to the shot list) he was flexible with everything going on. He blended into the party perfectly and was completely unobtrusive to the event itself. And, of course, the photos turned out beautiful. We are in the process of selecting favorites right now and Vinney is helping us design a wedding album to showcase the evening. He got some really great shots and we are so grateful he was able to capture our wedding perfectly!

When you get a chance to fit into Jonathan Hedrick's busy schedule for headshots, you take it,…read morebecause this man is a PRO. From the moment I arrived, Jonathan was already at work, making me feel relaxed and excited for my headshots. His pre-session communication was excellent, informing me to bring various clothing options, which really eased my anxiety about choosing the perfect outfit. Throughout the shoot, Jonathan created a comfortable (almost meditative!) atmosphere. In between laughs, Jon's storytelling took me to the place of past shoots, displaying his experience and passion for his craft. Despite my not being the best subject, he skillfully captured my best angles and expressions under his pro studio lighting, and, through his easy-going conversation, I went from tense to fully relaxed. Jonathan's gentle guidance on posing and his ability to listen and adapt to nervous me was so cool to experience. His skill in both technical and interpersonal aspects of photography is truly impressive. I left feeling inspired to hone my own craft even better. The results speak for themselves: these headshots will, indeed, elevate my professional image and help me stand out on LinkedIn and in my professional life. As you can see in his diverse portfolio, Jon's GOT IT. And what he's got, no technology can ever replace. If you're in the L.A. area (or down to visit) and need high-quality headshots or portraits, I highly recommend booking a session with Jon. Thank you, Jon, for an incredible experience and exceptional results! I'm already looking forward to our next session.
