Honestly the atmosphere was so loud, I might have been a little tipsy before, but I don't recall hearing any tunes. They have a limited selection of bar food, the sandwiches are surprisingly delicious ridiculously filling and the cheese plate is a must (it comes with honey). Space is limited and I don't believe they take reservations so once you see a table open up you just have to swoon in like a hawk and stake your property haha. If you enjoy craft beer you will not be disappointed. The food is the bomb diggity. All in all high recommendations :)

Their red beer, Valdarossa, is particularly good. Lots of seating available at big wooden tables. Small selection of food consisting of wraps and sandwiches. This is probably the best place for beer in Pisa. Recommended.

Chicken, Lasagna, Various Pastas, Hummus, Salad Bar, a bunch of other stuff, and of all the places...THEE BEST BRUCHETTA TOMATOES we had during out 2 week Italy Vacay. My wife and I each ate about 3-4 plates each...with a glass of wine, our total lunch bill was a mere 21 euro! We definitely ate our money's worth...in fact I'm pretty sure they lost money on us. My one piece of advice...eat here AFTER you climb the tower, not BEFORE like we did...it was rough! ;-)

Am posting this in the hope that some other unfortunate traveller may be spared our experience…read more We were looking for a quick lunch before we embarked back to Germany, and was hopeful for a delicious quick bite to eat, since dinner was such an amazing experience the previous night at Emma's tavern, unfortunately, though this cafe looked inviting, the food served was truly horrible! We ordered a personal size pizza and the mozzarella frittatas. Perhaps our choice was wrong! The frittatas looked like they had come out of a frozen pack, and tasted worse! Ugh~! And the personal mozzarella and pomodore pizza was almost tasteless and miserable! I've rarely had a bad meal in Italy. I've travelled around Venice and Rome and now Florence and Pisa and Tuscany, but rarely have I ever had to worry about stale or bad food. Somehow, this cafe managed to bungle up offering even the most simple of fares. So seriously, try another cafe else where. You might have better luck than us. At least I will have spared you a bad meal here.
